If you are a teen or a person that is not yet stable, wait until your older married and stable. Babies need alot of time, care, and love. They need: diapers, wipes, food, formula, clothes, onsies, socks, pants, shirts, sweaters, jackets, coats, shoes, lotion, baby wash, powder, diaper rash cream, nose drops, gas drops strollers, cribs, sheets, pillows, bed sets, medicine, doctors visits, toys, learning, daycare, and much, much more. Think about affording all this cause it wont all come from a baby shower. Babies are a full time and three part time jobs, if you like working that many jobs than, maybe you do have time and are stable enough. Just think first, maybe you should wait.

Depends on your age etc - if you've been trying for 6 months without any luck, I'd suggest you see your doctor for advice. Pretty much, smoking and caffeine should be cut out when you're trying for a pregnancy, and if you are overweight, you should try to lose some weight, as this can affect your fertility. If you and your partner seem pretty healthy, and you've done all of these things, then see your doctor, who can refer you for various tests regarding your fertility. Good luck!
