You bet it will make a baby cry or be fussy. If they can't breathe, eating is impossible and they are hungry, so they cry and just plain don't feel well. "This too shall pass.." Good luck!

Certainly - if their nasal passage is clogged and they have their mouth full of teat, they don't have any way to breathe. They will try to eat like normal, but then have trouble and perhaps be fussy because they can't breathe through their nose and don't understand they need to open their mouth.
Just one possibility.

Yes, the baby may be hungry and have a difficult time eating becasue she can not breathe well while she is eating.
try unclogging her nose with a bulb syringe (squeeze it, gently insert into nostril, let go of bulb and the mucous will be gently cleaned out)

My oldest did that till he replaced into 6 months previous. At that component i replaced into pregnant lower back, so i finished breastfeeding him and he replaced into on formulation complete time. i'm confident i replaced into in no way producing adequate for him. regardless of what everyone needs to tell you, some females only have a conflict producing adequate. in case you come to a determination which you will desire to bottle feed, please be sure you quite often carry your toddler whilst feeding them. i'm confident it somewhat is the reason breastfed toddlers have a extra useful bond, considering you are able to desire to snuggle them. additionally you at the instant are not a foul mom in case you have issues breastfeeding.

most definitely. babies breathe through the nose. when eating with a stuffy nose a baby has trouble breathing, so the baby will suck and then stop and cry or pant to catch his/her breath.

Yes im sure that it would. if he cant breathe through his nose then he cant breathe while he is nursing so he is probably crying because he is frustrated because he is hungry but cant do it properly without not getting enough oxygen. wouldnt you cry too

Swatim,
Absolutely, try and put yourself in the babies place. If your nose was stuffed up and you were sucking on a bottle, do I need to say any more.
