I had protected sex the day after my period was over. I started my next period right on time, about 3 weeks after I had sex. I am about 5 days late on my second period after I had sex, could I be pregnant?

Is possible but not likely, timeing unprotected sex after your period is a method of birth control... I forgot the name. After you period your body needs a certain amount of days to reporduce another egg. After your period you are MUCH less fertile than the couple of days before. Your body may not have even had a fertile egg in there...

I found the web page on Yahoo health, It's called Fertility awareness (natural family planning), check the link below.

Hi there,
I was not going to write to you but you are getting so many poor answers that I just had to. It seems like some of the women (girls) who are answering your question are just mad at you because you had sex and they didn't. Their personal feelings should have nothing to do with the answer to a question on here.
IF you had what was a normal period after the time that you had sex it would be VERY unlikely for you to be pregnant. Now I am not saying that it is 100% impossible, when dealing with the human body nothing is impossible, I am just saying that it is very unlikely.
It would probably make you feel much better if you invested in one of the pregnancy tests that you can buy at the drugstore. I am very sure that it will be negative but it will put your mind at rest.
I do have to agree with the expression that "if you had sex you could be pregnant" but you also had a period which leads me to believe that you are not pregnant.
If you pay attention to your body you can be pretty sure when it is that you ovulate.
According to what you said, it is very unlikely that you were ovulating when you had sex.
Take the test and when it is negative, relax. You will start your period.
You really should have a form of birth control that you can use so that you will not have to worry like this again.
Take care and Blessings to you
Lady T~

If you are a teen or a person that is not yet stable, wait until your older married and stable. Babies need alot of time, care, and love. They need: diapers, wipes, food, formula, clothes, onsies, socks, pants, shirts, sweaters, jackets, coats, shoes, lotion, baby wash, powder, diaper rash cream, nose drops, gas drops strollers, cribs, sheets, pillows, bed sets, medicine, doctors visits, toys, learning, daycare, and much, much more. Think about affording all this cause it wont all come from a baby shower. Babies are a full time and three part time jobs, if you like working that many jobs than, maybe you do have time and are stable enough. Just think first, maybe you should wait.

Yes, possibly, just take a test. You can still have a period while being pregnant.

You could be, but its too early to tell. Wait a while and get a test to take to see if you are. You could be! I hope this helps you out in some way. Good Luck!!!

If you suspect you are pregnant, use a home pregnancy test with your first pee in the morning. I doubt you're pregnant since you've had a normal period since then but it doesn't hurt to check.

If you had sex you could be pregnant. Get a test, or go to the doc.

Any day of the year you could get pregnant.
