I've always heard from a few days to a week. Is this true, or could it be 2 weeks??

I didn't say fertilization---I said implantation--when the fertilized egg implants itself in the uterus, and sometimes spotting occurs (what I'm having right now).

It is 6 to 12 days after ovulation, Alot of women experience it when their period is due. So I would say that is about 2 weeks after your ovulation. Different for all. I had implantation bleeding with 2 of my sons, so I knew when it happened. It was around day 8 for me. I dont think many of these other people know what you are talking about.

Conception can occur up to a week post sex (sperm usually live 36 to 48 hours, however can live up to 7 days), implantation (when the fertilized egg burrows into the uterus)usually happens about 2 weeks post conception

Implantation can take place about 6-12 days after fertilization.
From there, it takes 4 days for the implantation process to be completed, and another 2-4 days for the hormone to be detected in urine. The hormone can be detected in blood when implantation is complete (it's secreted from the placenta, which is formed when implantation is done).

If fertilization occurs then it will start from the 6th day to fertilization and end about the 10th day

How about within the hour, yes this can happen if you already have an egg just waiting to be fertilized by one of the million sperms racing towards it at time of sexual intercourse.
You of course would not know until a couple of weeks or a month when you skip a period, start feeling really tired, and your breasts begin to fill out more, and are ravenous at mealtime compared to your usual hunger. Good luck

It should be 2-3 days after at most. Two weeks later the egg should be fertilized and cells dividing.

No, I think 3 days at the most. Sperm only lives 72 hours, so I don't see it happening 2 weeks later.

It occurs during intercourse if you are fertile.
