Pregnancy & Parenting - 12 November 2006

Ok i am Due november 14th and at this very moment i have the feeling of cramps. they are tolerable..when i walk around they get worse but when i sit down they are painful but tolerable...the top of my belly is tightening, and it feels like shes movin a little, not much..also i am also feeling like sharp Stings of some sort in my abdomin every like..10 -15 mins, i cant tell if im having real contractions becasue my cramps arent starting and stopping they are just like staying the same..not going away nor getting really worse unless i get up and walk around..i also Feel ALOT of pressure like every 5-10 mins like she's pushing on my bladder but its not that painful..my water hasnt broke and i havent lost my MP. Everyone says dont go to the hospital cuz they will more then likely send me home if my water hasnt broken or Not lost my MP. i went to the Doctors Tuesday and i was Dilated 1 cm and she said my cervix was thin? what do i do?

I have heard that giving natural birth damages the vigianal tissue and having sex will never be the same because of this damaged nerves, is this true, and what kind of birth will you suggest, if you want to keep your sex life healthy and regain your figure.

Im 37 weeks preggo and I haven't experienced swelling before but today my feet just puffed right up and i was wondering what could help me fix this and reasons why this has happened to me now so late on in the pregnancy I was pregnant before and never experienced this MY SHOES DON"T FIT HELP

Ok I've never really asked for advice but she's driving me crazy. My husband has shared parenting and he gets her Thurs-Sun well up until 4 months ago she spent all that with his mom so she had never lived with us when she started school we had to keep her here except on Saturday we let both the kids go stay with her. Well Kenna which is my step daughters name who is 5 throws tantrums to go to his moms house and we threaten not to send her but then his mom comes to the house and she lets her do anything she wants which doesn't help us any in trying to straigten her attitude. I've tried spanking her and sitting her down and time outs,no tv, no playing, anything you can think of. Should we not let her go to his moms until she straightens up or what? I know its a lot to read but HELP!

OK i am Due November 14th and ever since yesturday i have been having crampy like contractions, i started cleaning and doing laundry about an hour ago and they went to my back and got a little stronger But not too much. i sat down for a while and they went away in my back BUT ive been having these contractions since yesturday like non-stop BUt they are tolerable, i havent lost my MP or my water..could i be iN labor? i went to the DOc last tuesday and i was only 1 cm dilated.ive been having a water like discharge about every..3-5 hours. just like a drop or two of like water it seems like..is that my water breaking slowly? My son who is nine, is very fidgety, misbehaves, aggressive and gets easily distracted. He is overall an intelligent student but due to his distractive nature, he loses marks. He was prescribed Ritalin two years ago, which he consumed for two months. Any side effects? What can I do to make him more focused in the classroom? His father doesn’t take interest in his lessons, just thinks of himself. I am the only person running errands for my son. Due to this pressure, I get irritated and expel my irritation on my child. Will my anger and labeling my son, hurt him in the near future? Please help.

I sure have a lot of questions don't I? lol I was wondering in what order do things happen in labor? Like loosing your mucus plug, contractions, and you water breaking. I was just wondering what order things happen in because I never completly understood. I am a bit scared about labor even though I won't go into labor until around April so I figured the more informed I am the more comfortable I will feel about it. Thanks!

Met girl at club,had sex with her 3 times in 1 night, now we didn't use protection. Get phone call yesterday she had a baby who is 4 mths old & she said it is mine. She told me she thought she could do this alone, but says its hard & needs my help. She said it took her 3 mths 2 find me. I really liked this girl we stayed up all night talking about everything, I wanted 2 start a relationship with her but she got scared. Now she tells me that all she wants is for me 2 be in our daughters life. She offered me a dna test if i wanted. She said she kept this from me coz we are young I am 23 & she is 24. I told her I'd support her and the baby even if she's not mine. I now have a g/f & don't know if I should tell her. The girl told me that it has 2 be mine coz she hasn't slept with anyone for 18 months & she was on the pill so she doen's no why she fell pregnant. I am so confused and need advice.

Our 4yr old doesent seem to listen, he wants to do whatever he wants, he will yell at us, tell us bad word's, and hit us. We always try ,or give him everything,nice toys,clothes,& shoes. He doesent appreciates what we do for him,he is also so hipper,since I became pregnant he just gotten worse, & now that the baby came and is 2 month's he is still the same or worser then before. If things dont go his way then he will just start crying like crazy...we try to spank him or put him on time out but he just cries, when he cry's it irritates me real bad so I just go bazzar with him. we tried everything but doesent seem to work so can someone tell me what really works, I just cant take it anymore is just crazy, we do evrything for him and he stills acts dumb with us..

I have been writing checks and forging my moms name and cashing them. I love my mom but with no job I cant help but to go in her purse and borrow a 20. My drug addiction is my problem and need to kick the habit. I know stealing is wrong but she stopped working and now recieves child support and doesnt give me my share. Should i sue her?

Okay another question from me... it's kind of gross so I only want answers from experienced pregnant women. I am 17 weeks pregnant and in the middle of me and my hubby having intercourse, a white bugery string came out. I know that your supposed to have a dicharge but how much is too much. The reason why I am asking is because I am not sure what a mucus plug looks like. So should this discharge be so thick and how much is too much for how far along I am?

I just had a baby 3 weeks ago but still i think my milk production isnt that great coz when i nurse him after 30-35 min of nursing he falls asleep then gets back up after 5 min crying and this happens every time!! so i thought i should use a pump and try to feed him that way coz my concern is that he gets my milk and not the formula! i bought the avent manual pump, but after pumping for about 10 min i only get a few drops. Am i using it wrong coz the suction is fine and i followed directions too but isnt it strange that i get only few DROPS! i heard from everyone that its the best pump out there. anypne else used the aven manual one ..also should i try an electric pump if so which brand is best something that worked for you guyz. please help out i am very very struessed out!! thankyou

they have a baby(22-13)the mother done lost one child at age 11,the dughter needs help with the baby,the mother doesnt help her much with the baby,the 13 year old has a baby by the guy,and hes willing to do all he can for her and the baby.THE MOTHER AGREES TO ALL THIS.ps this is not the 13 year old or the 22 year old,just a very concered grandmother and its all out of my hands.

Everyone around me seems to think there is nothing wrong with this!! Tax payers in 45% of cases have to support these kids. All I see around me are kids having kids!!!! They think it is so cute!Are there that many people in this world who are so lazy to use some sort of birth control they would rather have a kid than be a little embrassed and buy a condom!?!?!?!?! OK, first of all, my mother was never there for me when I was young, my father raised me and my brother. Anyway, my daughter is 4 years old and I love her with all my heart. I only want the best for her. And the only place I trust to leave her is at daycare while I work. Other than that, she's with me, at home. I am totally freaking out if she's anywhere else than with me or at daycare, and I don't feel like she's safe. My mother lives 2 hours away and she's always pressuring me to let my daughter spend nights with her. (By the way, she's also an alcoholic) So am I being overprotective or just being a good loving mother??

I am 17 weeks pregnant and I went to the store today. The cashier said I went pale and then when I went to leave she had someone carry-out my groceries and walk me to my car. Everything went black and I got real dizzy. He caught me when I got off balance. It went away after they had me sit down for a while. This has happened pretty often. I am going to my doctor tuesday but I was wonderinf if I should be worried and what's going on?

I have a 3 year old daughter. I honestly can not stand her. I don't know if it's post partum depression from my 9 month old son, but she just keeps on doing stuff that annoys the heck out of me. On top of it, her father is no better than a 2 year old himself and never tries to teach her right from wrong. I get so furious with her. No, I don't go over the top and all out beat the heck out of her, but she is just too much. I honestly feel like she needs to be sent to a boarding school where they will force her to behave and obey without intentionally destroying everything she touches and intentionally trying to injure her little brother. She likes to throw glass and she likes to try standing on her brother when he's crawling around. That's not the worst of it, this is her on a good day. I honestly can not stand her and want to send her to a boarding school, and I hate feeling this way about her. I was not raised in a family like this, and I just don't like her.
