My reproductive endocrinologist put me on Glucophage (Metformin) to help with my Poly Cystic Ovarian Disease (PCOD). I have not been able to find anything online about how it will help PCOS, only on how it works for diabetes. I am not a diabetic, so I don't understand why I am on the medication. Any and all advice would be appreciated.

This is kind of a personal question. My wife is 7 months pregnant with twins. She feels really bad because she can't have sex with me, and of course I understand. She wanted me to try anal so i did, but of course that hurt too much. The question is how can I help her enjoy anal sex? What can i do to make it feel better?

I am 17 weeks pregnant and have read in books that I should be sleeping on my left side. But I find that so uncomfortable. I can sleep on my right side but prefer to sleep on my back. Could I be restricting oxygen to my baby this way?

Im currently on the pill and take 3 packs of microgynon 30 in a row due to painful periods. I had sex around midway of the 2nd pack without a condom. During that time i had had the flu but was taking no medication. About 2 weeks after i developed thrush. I finish taking my 3rd pack tomorrow and my period is due on Friday. About 4 days ago i started having brown discharge (sorry too much information) and have for the past 2 weeks been having twinges and an inflamed pain in my tummy. I went to the doctors about the pain but didnt say i had unprotected sex. She felt my tummy and said there was nothing wrong and she gave me medication for the thrush. Could i be pregnant or am just worrying over nothin?

I am 10 weeks pregnant and when I got up today I was in a lot of pain in my ovaries, buttocks and thighs. The pain is not too bad when I lie down but when i first stand up i am in lots of pain. I have not had a scan yet so I am worried. Phoned midwife she says to take painkillers and to watch the pain. Is this normal I have had babies before and never had this pain. Could it be a cyst or would a cyst be painful even when I lie down??? Thanks.

now suppose i ovulated on my 14th day of my menstrual cycle and i had sex to become pregnant.then is it safe to have sex continuously till i miss my period or just wait for a positive response of pregnancy. i hope u got my question pls help. does oversex even after ovulation hinders your chances of becoming pregnant

One of my closest and best friends whom i love like a sister is wondering if there was such things as a way to naturally cause a miscarriage. Mainly b/c her bf and his family is devout catholic. If his folks even found out, they'd both be in ubber trouble. Neither one of them would be able to deal w/having a baby. My friend would rather do the unthinkible than even tell her bf. Would there be a way to find out if she is w/out a pregnancy test? From what i understand is she's not expecting her period until the end of the month around the 28th, so until then...? GOing through the terrible 2's with my daughter at the moment and feel like I am always saying 'No - don't - stop it'!! Am firm and try to be consistent but also end up with that nothing compares to it sense of parent guilt..

Anyone else feel this? Know she needs to be disciplined and so know it is a necessary exercise.. just that niggle that accompanies it along the 'was I too picky/harsh' lines that bothers me!

My husband and i have been trying to concieve. I've never been late for a period b4 well maybe 1 days off but that is it. I was late for my period about two month. I feel symtoms that i am pregnant. tired,breast hurt and turning browner by the days. Then yesterday i spotted a little. it carry on till today. i Didn't have crams only back ack. but its gone after a nap. Its like my period but its much lighter and the color seem to be reder.
