Pregnancy & Parenting - 12 November 2006

I had a one night stand last sept with this girl i met at the club.
I got phone call at work 2day from her & she said that she had a baby girl who is 3 1/2 mths old & is mine.
She told me she kept this from me coz we are 23 & she didn't want this to ruin my life, she said the reason she called is because she thought she could do it on her own but now she needs me 2 help her out with money and support.
She said if i don't believe her we can have a dna test done....I want 2 but i dont want to upset her coz she semed depressed & said that she has no support from anyone. The only thing is when we slept 2getha we didnt use protection & she said she hasn't been with anyone else since me.
I really want to help and support her. She said she'd give me some time to think about if i want to be part of their lives. I have neva seen "our" baby yet, but she said she's bring her to me. the only prob is i have a g/f now & dont no how 2 tell her. what should i do im so confused.

That if you yell at a child to stop crying, it will stop. I was working at a day nursery and saw this happen, not for the first time, and the poor 2yr old was terrified and about to have a full blown tantrum. Needless to say shouting at her did not help!

How might i include my kids in the adult areas of the home without letting these social spaces become a play room. Should the living room be play free? Where do you draw the line and how much do you take your kids into account when decorating your home? I am redesigning my house and have many things i need to consider. im 15 years old alot of people count on me my 26 year old sister come to me for advice about her 3 year old son and her ex and guys she dates. my friends also come to me for various things i have alot of problems of my own i cant take it at home anymore ive thought about suicide but i have to many people here to leave ive thought of running away but i dont have aywhere to go what should i do? ive tried talking to someone including my counselor at school but she says i need to go to a regulsr counselor and she even called my parents and told them but they didnt do anything. my step mom forbided me to talk to my boyfriend but i still do i love him too much to let her come between us. hes 17 and she forbided me because he cuses but i do too and not bc of him ive cussed since b4 i met him and i wounder if they knew i cuse if they would hate me as much as they hate him. i often find my stepmom listening to mine and my 26 year old sisters phone calls but anyway what should i do about him

I think I am leaking amniotic fluid and am 39 weeks pregnant. It has a light pink color to it, but I went into tje doctor to get checked yesterday and they tested it but said that since they couldn't get an adequate sample, it probably wasn't amniotic fluid. But it's still happening and I am getting worried. It seems like a very slow leak. Is it possible my doctors don't know what they are talking about?

in my house, AND they went past where they are allowed to go. I tore into them, and spanked them both, AND I told them we were not going to go to Seaworld, as planned. But now I am feeling guilty, as we have been going through a REALLY hard time here at home, and their dad is gone, and we are moving in about 2 weeks,
and their life has pretty much been turned upside down in the last month. Should I give in and take them, or stick with it?
