Vaginal discharge in pregnancy is quite normal. It usually starts in the 4th month, between weeks 14-17. It's called Leukorrhea, and it can look milky, light, and be mild-smelling. It's very similar to the discharge some women experience prior to menstration. This discahrge increases througout the pregnancy, and may even become quite heavy near the end. Using a panty liner is a good idea, so that your underwear doesnt become stained. However, dont use a tampon, because this can cause an infection because of the introduction of germ into the vagina.

Some warning signs with the discharge are:

-If it turns greenish-yellow and becomes thick and cheesy with a foul odor

-If you have burning, itching, redness, and soreness.

The normal discharge throughout pregnancy should not be a concern. It is not dangerous to you or the baby. Good luck with the pregnancy!

You may just have a yeast infection or something. Go to the Dr. and let him check you out. Doubt very seriously if something is wrong with the baby.

well first of all...you should change your pants every day.
Check with your doctor for any problems real or imagined. Don't ever come to a place like this for medical advice...especially now
