my daughter will be 6 months old on the 22nd and i was just wondering how long i should wait to introduce new foods to her, like rice cereal? I've heard 6 months, and i've heard 4 months...i just want to hear some of your different opinions and tell me when and how you did it. thanks

We have a two year old niece who will literally grind her pelvic area on the floor, couch, person, basically anything and everything she can get on. She gets VERY mad when you stop her. Is this normal behavior? (This is a serious question btw). Thanks

I know that these two car seats are made by Britax, but I was wondering if there is any big safety issues with the Fisher Price model, because it is about $100.00 cheaper then the Britax one.

My period came on Oct. 26. 14 days ago( oct. 30 ) I ran out of birth control pills so I start taking exp. pills, they were also a higher dose then my reg. pills My period went of Nov. 2nd. Nov.4 my boyfriend and I had sex. After I got home I took 4 pills. 4 days after having sex I start having a thick white wet oderless discharge and two days after my discharge started I started to cramp a very little and spot. I have been spotting for two days now. what could it be? pills or am I pregnant?

her diet hasnot changed....my diet has not changed .....she is breastfeed yet for the past week when she goes poop its just a small little clump.....the only thing that has changed is I had a glass of wine one night but thats it, her dad just came home from iraq...but i dont think that would mess with her bowl movements?
i am going to call her doctor tomarrow but until then wanted to see what yall had to say. thank you

I am about 5 days late on my period and my BF and I have been trying to have a baby for awhile but have been unsuccesful. Itook a test but it came out negative and my periods are not usualy irregular. I'm not stressed out. I called a clinic and they said for some women they do have "like" periods, in fact it is being seen more and more these days, but I was hoping to actually talk to someone who might have actually had it happen.

My 15 year old sister is thinking about getting pregnant with her boyfriend so that she can keep him from leaving her. He has his eye on another girl and she feels that having a baby from him will force him to love her and the baby so he wont leave her. The problem is before she gets pregnant she is trying to figure out where to buy the healthiest umbilical cord to insert in her uterus for the baby to feed off of. I'm not sure what web site or grocery store she can go to buy a clean umbilical cord for her unborn baby. Does anyone know where she can go to buy a clean disease free umbilical cord for the unborn baby??

I just have sex with my gf yesterday. Its just after the 2nd week of her menstrual cycle. I think my sperm get into her vagina. I not sure whether she will get pregnant. So is it advisable to go get a pregnancy test first or wait for her next period to come before deciding what to do.

It seems that any hand lifted,regardless of motive is labelled violent- I understand that there are bullies out there who have undeservingly become parents and have used the positions horrendously; however there are many times when the best deterrant or learning curve a child has, is a smack. I do believe that smacking and proper instruction, together with the love one has for their child builds a better person for the future- how do we squash the bullies but properly discipline our kids, without becoming labelled a bad parent, or a violent person? A child should not be smacked in anger but they should be disciplined with love, smacked so they know they are loved but must be obedient to the instructions provided to keep them safe. But at all times that child must know that they are loved and wanted by the parents-it is just the bad behaviour that is abhorrent.

My 4 year old has never slept good,she wakes at least 1-5 times a night,(i'm getting paid back!) lately she has been waking and Screaming/crying,jumping/lifting legs very high,won't talk,eye's are cloudy,If I ask if she has to pee,she screams NO,whats the matter? NOTHING,won't let me touch her!! After 5 mins of her pacing back and forth,entering my room,turning and going towards the bathroom,turning again and back into her room!....she goes pee,crying the hole time,then goes right back to sleep like nothing ever happened! I have taken her in for bladder/kidney infection and she has none. Is she awake? Does she have to pee and thats what wakes her but not fully? She has never wet the bed! While she is peeing I ask if it hurts and she screams at me NO! GET OUT! Anyone have any idea's what to do? She wakes up the hole house! Last night she went into my sons room,turned on the light and cryed and danced around in there!

I am 28 weeks pregnant and my groin area, lower back, and abs are very sore. This is my second child and I know a lot about the aches and pains of pregnancy, but I don't remember being this sore. Sometimes can't even do things like walk through walmart or down steps. Getting in and out of bed is a pain in the *** as well. Why am I so sore and is there any remedies for it? I am getting really annoyed with it!!!

She is 14, she lies to me all the time, for example, she told me her grades were all B's and C's. Then she "forgot" to bring home her report card, so I went to the school and she has all D's and F's. She rarely gets away with her lies, and I don't know why she does it or what to do about it.

The Dimetapp I bought relieves nasal congestion, sneezing, runny nose, itchy, watery eyes. Can I also add a separate cough suppressant to help with his cough? I know you can give a cough suppressant with Tylenol but I just want to make sure I'm not mixing two of the same things, possibly. Thanks.

well i will try to keep it short and detailed if i can...
well...my period was due for november 10th but it came on the 6th really light on the 7th it was light so on and on....it usually last 6days but it lasted 4days and all 4days were light i went to the ER lastnight and the doctor kept rubbing my belly and asking when was my last period and was it normal i told him no and the reason why he kept rubbing it but didnt do a blood or a urine sample...could it be possible that im pregnant and if i test 2mrrw is it possible i can get an accurate result wether negitive or positive??

is it dangerous to smell benzene during pregnancy?my father in law was putting benzene in his car and i didnt that know so i went the backyard and the smell was really strong.i only smelled it for a couple of minutes.could that do any harm to my baby?did anybody smell benzene when pregnant and their babys were fine?i am 35 weeks pregnant.

Two days ago I felt a little trickle and again today. I am already high risk and have go back to the Dr. on Tues.
