I am about 5 days late on my period and my BF and I have been trying to have a baby for awhile but have been unsuccesful. Itook a test but it came out negative and my periods are not usualy irregular. I'm not stressed out. I called a clinic and they said for some women they do have "like" periods, in fact it is being seen more and more these days, but I was hoping to actually talk to someone who might have actually had it happen.

Yes! I was so sure that my period was about to start any minute and even after it was confirmed that I was pregnant, I was a nervous wreck all the time from worrying that I would miscarry because all of the cramping. Nagging cramping, back ache, fatigue, sore breasts and irritability are all PMS signs for me and I had all of that from a week after ovulation and for as long as 3 months pregnant! Some clues that gave it away were that if I changed position the cramping would ease up for a while and I never had that with PMS. I would test again in a few days. Sometimes it takes a while for the Hcg to show up in your urine. I had symptoms long before the test showed positive. Another pregnancy sign is if you have any milky/creamy discharge. That was another clue for me that it was not PMS. Good luck!

A precise interval for the period of being pregnant is not feasible, however a few females revel in interval-like bleeding known as decidual bleeding, even though that is frequently lighter than a consistent interval. This does not sound like "ordinary" recognizing and implantation bleeding occurs round 6 to twelve days after ovulation, so it is so much too overdue for that. If you've got cramps or cross clots, you are most likely having a miscarriage. Good good fortune.
