If you don't have any physical issues then position doesn't matter. There are rare ocassions when women get pregnant without any penitration. Those sperm are fiesty little fellows with a mission in mind.
If you do have trouble getting pregnant, then you being on bottom with a pillow under your hips is good. Then stay laying down for an hour with your hips raised on a couple of pillows.
If you are having trouble getting pregnant then you need to talk to your doctor and not to the wise crackers here who think they are funny.

My doctor told me that after we had sex to be sure that I put my legs up in the air like I was riding a bicycle, (exercising) for just a few minutes, and don't get up and clean myself. He said lay down like that for about an hour, then you can get up and clean your-self. He said if you douche, get up, use the bathroom, etc., that you can lose a lot of semen that way and you need to make sure you get it up in there and have it stay. Put you butt on a pillow, maybe two, and stay there for a while. When you think of it, it does sound funny, but it will work. Keep up with your temp., and take it everyday. When its a little elevated then do it like I told you. I did and 9 months later I had a little boy......LOL....

Missionary, with a pillow under your hips. Then try to lay still for about 30 minutes after sex. That will allow the semen to pool near your cervix and have a better chance of some sperm entering the cervix.

I agree with the pillow suggestion as well. It may not be perfect but swimming down hill gives the little wigglers a better chance.

It has absolutely no benefits at all! All it takes is for the egg to be ready and sperm to get to it at the right time. Which actually is a miracle in itself how perfectly the timing has to be, yet amazingly so many get pregnant with little to no effort.
