how do you go about taking that test? I know it's an old Wive's Tale, but I would like to do it just for fun. I find out what my baby is on December 5th, so I'd like to see if it comes out true! Can someone please tell me how the draino test works???? Thanx =)

this was in our local paper this past week.
mix the Drano with your urine, if it turns orange its a boy
if theres no color change its a girl.
but they stress it is as old wives tail and not put stock in it.. and plz be care full!

I believe you put Draino crystals into a container that you have urinated in and the crystals change colour depending on the sex. I dont actually know the full details but i've read about it on a pregnancy and birth forum that I use frequently.

there are many different shades people say it should be. I heard that it was either to turn blue or green I tried this and had my husband mix the urine and draino togther-don't ever do it yourself.
BUT IT DIDN'T WORK FOR ME the color it turned meant girl and guess what I have a boy!

Never heard of the draino test...but stay away from those harsh chemicals while pregnant...it could harm the baby.

THEY JUST HAD THIS IN THE NEWSPAPER. THINK IT WAS TO MIX DRAINO WITH YOUR URINE. IF IT COMES OUT ONE SHADE IT'S A BOY AND THE OTHER COLOR FOR A GIRL. YOU COULD LOOK THIS UP FOR THE PEORIA JOURNAL STAR NEWSPAPER . GOOD LUCK.
