when you are pregnant what types of devices can they use to detect the baby;s heart beat.?

they can either listen to the babies heartbeat when you get a scan done at the hospital or there is a machine that most gps have called a doppler they put some gel on your stomach and run this machine over it and the heartbeat can be heard with earphones.if you are concerned go to your doctor straight away.

Either Ultrasound or Fetal doppler. The doctor can use a fetoscope, which looks like a funny stethoscope, but hardly anyone uses this because the doppler's work so well.
