It is theoretically possible for air to get forced up into the uterus during sex. The fear is that due to the increased blood flow that air could be forced into the blood stream, causing an air embolism. Yes, that could be very dangerous. The reality is that during pregnancy the likelihood of this happening is VERY VERY unlikely. The only reports I have ever heard where this happened were AFTER the baby was born. Even this is very rare, but a report did come out last week of a couple of cases of this happening recently in England when couples did not wait for complete healing to take place before they resumed having sex. Sex is safe during pregnancy, but you may want to wait at least until all bleeding has stopped before resuming sex after birth.

to answer your exact queston:
Enough air to go in your vagina which would harm the baby can not be done by sex alone. The only way you could get enough air in to harm your baby is if some one were to blow straight in there. Don't worry. Have as much sex as you want until the last days of your pregnancy.
....just no blowing! ;)

i dont quite understand...
when air goes into your vaginal canal the excess air when release during sex makes noise also known as a "fanny fart" is a more slang term. Its absolutely normal and no where close to dangerous.
dw your not the only one.. at first i not only thought there was something wrong when that happens i thought it was really embarrassing.!
hope that helped :)

I think that I have heard that this can happen at any time and that this is okay? Unless you mean air that is in a specific place, like with the baby?

If it just happened during normal sex don't worry about it. You could just be qeefing or however it is spelled.

that is from getting licked out. you should have cunnilingus while pregnant. he might ecidently blow air inside your vagina, and it can go into your uterus and kill the baby.
there isnt a problem with sex and pregnancy......for the air thing
