Not entirely likely if it happened right before because you were not ovulating if your period started the day after, but you can get preggo if you have sex while on your period because the sperm can live long enough inside of you to meet the egg at ovulation, which happens after the period ends.
So even having unprotected sex while on your period IS NOT SAFE!
It is not very smart to be having unprotected sex at any time of the month fyi. Also, you can call it a period. Most of us are adults.
Use a condom or get on the pill and you won't need to be asking these questions. If you don't, soon you'll be posing the " Am I Peggo" question like everyone else here does......

No sex is the ONLY 100% sure way to not get pregnant, besides menopause. It has been said 2weeks b4 and 2 weeks after is when a female ovulates but that is an overall average and you cannot depend on that. If you choose to count your days as a form of birth control, please get the ovulation sticks. They will let you know when you are fertile, but first get a pregnancy test or wait for your friend. You may be pregnant.

Usually around the middle of your cycle is the most likely time to make a baby. HOWEVER of course it's possable to get preg. later.
I'm thinking this wasn't planned. Go to the drug store tomorrow and buy one of those home pregnancy tests, they are pretty accurate. You need to know one way or the other and it's ALOT better then worrying about it.
If you are preg. and not ready for motherhood PLEASE consider putting your' Baby up for adoption. In the phone book you'll find agency's that can help you. You don't need to go through this alone.
Blessings

It's rare, but I've heard of it happening before. You should take a test to see. I read online awhile back about a woman that conceived all 3 of her children this way.

It is possible, everyone's cycle is different. That is why you should always use protection if you don't want a baby.
