If the weather is good, go to the park. The fresh air will do your kids good. Make the most of it before winter sets in and the play area gets all boggy and unpleasant. It will tire them out, and getting out of the house will do you good too.
Perhaps you can join forces with another mum and get together for a cup of tea afterwards whilst the kids play together.
If the weather is rotten, you have no alternative but to go home, let them play, or watch a little TV for an hour or so, then have a Mary Poppins style tidying session before tea and bed.
Have a good day!

Oh how I long for a day with nothing to do!!!! I'm so jealous of you! lol

Today, we are:

Learning housekeeping skills by:
Changing the beds
Vacuuming everyone's rooms
sweeping the front porch

Working on creativity by:
Making Thanksgiving day turkeys out of construction paper using cut-outs of our hands for the feathers.
Checking the results of our "restore the play-dough to softness" lab experiment.
Collecting leaves from the tree next door for a project later on in the week.

Working the body by:
Going to the mall to play in a play area with other kids
Doing our exercise video

And of course, there's the dishes and the breakfast and lunch and the laundry and going to the store for more bread etc.
