No matter what my 2 (he will be 3 in Dec) yr old constantly takes off his socks /house shoes inside the house. I keep telling him that he will catch a cold. But every time i look up his houseshoes are off. Is this ok behavior ?

I'm not sure whether I'm having a boy or a girl but I have some names that I like..just wanted to get some opinions. Can you tell me what names you like, any suggestions for girls names, and any suggestions for middle names for a boy?

Girls-Olivia, Brittney, Faith, Hope, Joey...
Boys-narrowed down to Brody(my fav) or Lucas

My husband wants to name the child BYRON after his grandfather if it is a boy, but I say no becaues his grandfather was a drunk who abused his wife and never was there for the kids...am I nuts?

Ok. I know his sounds odd, but I need to put my mind at ease. I am PRETTY sure I got my period around sept 15th, which, if that is the case I would be 2 months pregnant. I also had unprotected sex around august 23, during my period. I had a ultrasound on oct. 26, and this is the ultrasound. (taken around what I think to be 5-6 weeks preg.)

is there any POSSIBLE way I could have concieved late august, instead of middle of sept, judging by the ultrasound? I am happy I am pregnant, just very curious, and I have a tendancy to worry, I went to bars and stuff late august and beginning of september. and stopped partying and things, and caffein and all when the first pregnancy test was positive (oct 15.) if I concieved around late august, when I took the ultrasound, wouldnt it mean I was 8-9 weeks? what does it look like to you? serious answers please. thank you.

I've heard that it's possible to get pregnant without ever having sex and getting pregnant from pre-***, which is my case... Approximately 3 weeks ago my boyfriend and I were messing around. Well, he got really close to me, and I've been paranoid ever since that I might be pregnant.

My period was supposed to have started a few days ago, but didn't, but my period is not always predictable.
I've been rather nauseous lately, usually after eating something.
I've had sore boobs, but they get that way sometimes right before my period.
I've been a bit constipated lately, but once again I'm usually constipated around the time of my period.
I've also been extremely tired, more so than usual, but also may be due to being a bit sick lately.

It may not help either that I've been overly paranoid, so I think these symptoms might actually be due to a pregnancy.

Should I look more into this, or am I really just extremely paranoid?

Someone please help....My daughter is almost 11 months and I still breast feed, I have no pump whatsoever. I really don't know how to go about doing so..I'm at work all day and the only time she does get to feed is during the nite. Also, if I'm only feeding a couple of feedings during the nite, shouldn't the milk dry up? I know when your getting ready to wean your breast become engorged...but I really need some advice.

My husband and I are expecting our first child in March. We live in a tiny 1 bedroom apartment and will not be able to buy a house until the baby is about a year old. Is it safe to use a pack n play as his full time bed until we move and can get him into a crib? Like use the bottom after he grows out of the bassinet. I like that the pack n play has the change table bassinet and bottom part all in one, we really dont have room for a change table bassinet and crib right now. Thanks

I dont want to come off weird or have anyone think (or type) that im a pervert. BUT i've always wondered, when u breast feed your child what stops it from feeling good? I mean we all know it feels good when a man (or woman, what ever your preference is) licks or sucks the nipple what stops that same feeling when a baby does it. I was watching a show and they said that some woman even have orgasmns from it....is that true? If i have kids i'm so scared something like that feeling would happen. And what about those woman that breast feed even when the kid is 5, 6 or even 8. is there a law that says u have to stop at a certain age. I really am just wondering so PLEASE no one judge...i know its a weird question, i didnt even want to ask it!!! But i cant help my wondering mind.

My daughter is a month old, and I started giving her a bottle about 2 weeks ago, because I didnt think she was getting enough milk from my breasts. I still breastfeed her, but only once or twice a day. (the rest of the time I bottlefeed her) She does fine for the first few minutes then she acts like she can't hold on right, and gets frustrated so I end up giving her a bottle. Is there any way that I can get her used to breastfeeding again so I can stop giving her a bottle? Also... I know I'm still producing milk, but how do I tell if I am producing enough??

Okay, here is the deal.... my 2 year old is a very very picky eater, and then he will say that he will eat something, then when I give it to him, he changes his mind....

What I need advice on is how I should handle this....
Here is the senerio....
Tonight, I made chicken and broccoli casserole, my son said "Yummy!!" when I showed him what we were eating, and he was all excited, when I put it in front of him, he pushed it away and started crying and saying "NO NO! All gone!!!"
My husband and I told him to sit and eat, and I forced a piece of chicken into his mouth (a very very small piece) and told him to chew and swallow... it took him about 10 minutes to finally swallow it....
My question is, how would you handle this...
Would you be calm but stern, telling him to eat his chicken, he needs to be a good boy and obey, the chicken is good for him....
Or scream at him and tell him to eat his chicken now or else he will go to bed right now.

I need to know who is right! What to do! Help!

I just found out that I am 3 weeks pregnant. Like my last pregnancy, I have noticed a lump in the armpit of my right arm. It itches and is painful. Has anyone else experience this? My doctor said it could be the milk ducts, but I just wanted to see if there were others experiencing this.
