I am trying to find out why wemon were sopposed to stay out of the city in the old testament if they had a girl baby compared to a boy baby

My daughters going to be 4 in jan.....she still wont sleep in her own room...She has the cute lil night light and the nice princess bed sheets...im really hoping after christmas with all her new toys...(i got her a ton of stuff) she might start sleeping in her bed..because every night she sleeps in between my husband and i....its not just her sleeping with us...ever night she has to hold my hand...and if she wakes up in the night without it she screams non stop...This woman i work with told me to babygate her in her room...after xmas with all her new stuff...and she might start sleeping in there...(im just hoping she does it on her own) We've tried everything me sleeping in her room...and then getting up and leaving...or her sleeping in our room and then moving her to her room...i tried sleeping in her floor and holding her hand...i know shes only 3 and shes really dependent on me right now...but i just....i love her to death..but i need space...specially in my queen sized bed!!!!

OK, here is the once and for all answer to those of you who are asking if you might be pregnant.

1. If you suspect at ALL that you might be pregnant, buy a two-pack HPT.
2. Take the first one. If it comes out positive, you probably are preg.
3. Wait two days and take the second test. If it too comes out positive, you're almost certainly preg.
4. Some signs to look for that indicate possible pregnancy:
A. Extremely sore or tender breasts
B. Darkening of the aureola; the area around the nipples
C. Late period, by more than about a week
D. Light-headed or dizzy, if you are not normally prone to that

5. Make an appointment with an OB/GYN or nurse-midwife ASAP so you can get proper prenatal care.

Thank you and please stop flooding the Pregnancy and Parenting section with this repetitive question! I mean no disrespect...but a HPT is far more accurate than a bunch of strangers trying to diagnose you as being pregnant or not!! :)

I have a 20 month old who now can climb over the railings of his bed. The bed itself is only 3 feet from top to floor. I'm worried that he's going to fall for one thing, but the other is now that since he's learned how to get out, he's battling me with sleep time. What do I do???!!!

I was on the depo shot for 3 years. It took me about a year for my periods to start. It has been about a year that they have been normal. We have been trying to get pregnant for several months now with no luck yet. I know that for some people it takes a little longer but in my situation could this be because of the shot? Has anyone else experienced a delay getting pregnant because of the shot?

I'm just made 29 weeks today, I am still not showing and I 've been wondering why I 'm trying my prenatal vitamans , eating right , exercise and going to my pernatal visits but i haven't seem to "popped out" yet... I have a small frame , 4'10 and 100 lbs but I don't think that has anything to do with it , has anybody had this problem and when did they start showing and can anyone who have been in my shoes give me some helpful advice?

do people in America think that once they turn 18, they could do whatever the heck the want?

I especially HATE those spoiled brats that get new cars when they turn 16. At 18, what makes you think you are so grown up that you're above the younger teens? after all you're still a teen.

okaie so i finally got my period after 3 months, but im usually irregular anyway, and i took 2 pregnancy test, both of which were negative, and i have no symptoms anyway. well i finally got my "period" so i think..it started off pretty light, and then got thicker as tha days went and my stress got less. well i was on this period for 10 days....is that normal?

I had something really stranged happened to me. About 2 weeks ago I found out I was pregnant. I did 3 pregnancy tests (two different brands) within the two weeks and they all came back positive. I knew exactly when I got pregnant (Oct 13th). I had all the signs of being pregnant (swollen and tender breast, decrease in appetite, nausea and constipation). Last Friday I started having cramps so I called my doctor and got an appointment for Tues Nov 7th 3:45pm. At 6am on Tues my cramps got worse and I started bleeding. I had clogs a little bit smaller than the size of a dime. Any how, by the time I got to the hospital at 3:45pm I was no longer pregnant (per my doctor). They drew my blood and today I found out that my blood pregnancy test was negative and my HCG level was 8. The doctor told me that I was never pregnant, however I find this hard to beleive. My husband and I accepted the fact that there is no baby, but we can not accept the fact that I was never pregnant. How could this be?

I was told that I should schedule a preconception appointment with my gyno before I begin trying to conceive. She said no exam was needed but that I could come in for counseling if I had questions. Can anyone tell me what their gyno had to say in such a visit? I know the basics, like getting my folic acid, no caffeine, alcohol, etc. Is there anything else I should know? And does anyone happen to know why doctors prefer that you wait three months after coming off the pill before actually trying to conceive?
