After not having one for so long, yes it is normal. Your body has months to clean out.... But your next one should not be that long. If it is, check with your gyno! Good Luck!

I think you're probably not pregnant. women have all kinds of patterns relating to menstruation, and your pattern doesn't seem terribly weird to me. You probably should consult your family physician or an obgyn if the irregularity of your periods concerns you. I know I wouldn't feel terribly comfortable with your pattern -- especially if I were sexually active, and concerned about getting pregnant. Birth control pills (or the patch, or the nuva-ring) would put you on a regular menstrual cycle, and would also prevent pregnancy. I'm sensing you are not wanting to be pregnant.

I would not waste time nor money until next month. Document what has happened. Dates, flow strength on what dates. Then when your next period comes around, document that too. If you have problems, first call your doctor and they will determine if you need to come in. It will save you time and money. Believe me, this is normal among alot of women. Unless you are bleeding REAL heavy or experiencing alot of pain, there is no need to go to the doctor. Be patient.

yes. after 3 months, there is a substantial buildup of tissue to get rid of, so an extra long period is normal.

I would say it's normal if you already have irregular periods.

No....you need to go see a doctor and let them know how your period is. They may be able to help regulate your period so that you will not get stressed.

Very normal if you don't have regular periods. I would ask your doctor to concider that you might have PCOS.
