You might have had a chemical pregnancy, which means the egg was fertilized but no baby developed. A blood test is the most accurate way to determine pregnancy, and an HCG level of 5 or less means negative. You could request an ultrasound or a repeat blood test just to be sure there were no errors in the test you took. If you feel any pain in either side call your OB right away as that could signal a tubal pg. ((hugs))

You might have been when you took the pee-stick test, but blood tests are much more accurate. So you probably had a very eary miscarriage. If thats the case, I would guess that you would be due for a menstruation. There is always a chance of error, so if you have not gotten your period still in a week or so i would see your Dr. again.

It happened to me. I did three home pregnancy tests that came back positive. But my blood test came back "inconclusive" because there was not enough of whatever hormone it is supposed to measure. They did a followup test a week later and I was pregnant and now have a 3 month old. Have you done another home pregnancy test since your blood test?

I can only answer from my own experience. I had two false test (urine tests). When they did the blood test to make sure, I was not. 10 years later, the blood test told the truth, no child.

nicely. generally, the ER will do a urine attempt and an ultrasound to ensure of your being pregnant. in the event that they simply did the urine attempt and it got here out detrimental, and you relatively have faith you nevertheless are... you need to continually take a HPT via your self. while you're nevertheless constructive, you need to truly bypass and spot a doctor, this is what I strongly propose. they could do a blood attempt on you to verify while you're pregnant or no longer, this is the main precise attempt attainable to make certain while you're pregnant. As for the shortcoming of era for 2 months, and the tummy shaping - like the lady until eventually now suggested, this could be a severe wellness situation. sturdy success to you, honey.

A blood test is more accurate than the pregnancy test. I suugest you get the blood work re-done.

False positives in a urine test can be caused by a UTI (which you can have without symptoms)
However I would get a second blood test just to be sure.
Good luck.
