She opens her mouth to receive the spoon, but spits it out constantly. we have tried for over a week now and have tried the cereal and pears. She is 4 months old. Any tips on how to encourage her to eat? Or is this the tongue reflex still present?

I have been cramping and having lower back pain for the past few days. my stomach tightens with these cramps and i have timed them but the closest they have gotten is 10 min. apart and then they go back to about 15-20 min apart. am I just in the early stages of labor??

He does this when he geats mad they said that he will grow out of it but I don't think that its normal. Becuase hecompletely stops breathing and truns cold.

I have only ever given my 2 year old son milk or water to drink. Lately he has noticed my husband drinking orange juice, and has been interested in trying it. I gave him some in a sippy cup with ice, hoping that the ice would melt and water it down a bit. He drank it long before that happened though!

Is it bad to give a 2 year old orange juice? Does orange juice have more nutritive value than say, apple juice? What kinds of juices do you give, and do you water them down?

My friend has just had her second child and as the god mother of her first i'm worried she will feel left out and bitter towards the new baby. My previous question was about a faint line I saw on my test strip this morning. (2 days past period) The test strip is supposed to be 20 ml on the scale. Do you think the strips are any less reliable than the stream tests? Or are they the same? What do you guys use?

This procedure consists of shooting dye into the tubes to see if there is any blockage. I'm wondering if anyone had success having this done and if it helped them conceive. I'm also curious how painful it is. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 7 months now. We've both been tested and both of us are fine but I'm still not pregnant. This is the next step.

i dont want to spend alot of money on a bunch of different car seats (infant, toddler, booster) so im hoping that a convertable one will do the trick....these car seats are from 5-65lbs...just wondering what your experience with them has been, or if you have any reccomendations along the lines of carseats.

I am 2 days past my period and this morning I took a test and followed all the instructions exactly. After 5 mins I looked and there was a faint line. Should I trust it as a positive? I am using a test strip, can the line turn up if you are not pregnant?

My 7 yo has gotten kicked off the bus AGAIN! (he threw something) So for punishment, i made him do some of my chores since i have to wait around for him tomorrow for an hour to pick him up. This lead to massive screaming , crying, backtalking, and a tempertantrum that i'd rate a 8 on the "I'm close to losing it too" scale. I held him on my knee until he calmed down, all told, this fiasco took nearly 2 hours (over a 10 minute chore) Does any one have any ideas on ways to deal with a child that's driving you bonkers???? I don't need to be told to spank him , we tried this tactic years ago and all that happened was he started spanking back. There are moments i am tempted, but i know it's not the answer. Thanks.
