I hear that the Cocoa butter for stretch marks doesnt work at all, but I used just plain suave lotion every day twice a day with both my pregnancies and I have very little marks, but i think that it would take a miracle lotion not to have any at all lol

I have heard that genetics plays the role in determining whether or not you are going to get stretch marks. However, all of my family member have them (Mom,Grandomoms, Aunts). I went through two pregnancies (second being twins) and I have not one stretch mark. I used Magia Bella with both pregnancies (they sell at GNC). I can only attribute not getting stretch marks to the cream. It is on the expensive side, but I am pretty sure they offer a money back guarantee. It worked for me!

I've heard that lotions and oils don't work but i apply Palmers Cocoa Butter each day ... don't know if it'll help the stretch marks (altho i'm 17wks and no stretch marks so far so you never know) but i also use it just to keep my skin moisturised! Im using cocoa butter for stretch marks just out of faith that it might work, but I have heard over and over that no lotion or potion can stop them from coming and that it has to do with the elasticity of your skin and if your lucky you just wont get them...Like I said though i still have faith that the lotion might work..it doesnt hurt to try right??

Avoiding stretch marks may not be possible. Stretch marks are hereditary. If your mother and grandmother had them, it's more than likely that you will too. However, you can diminish the appearance by using Vitamin E or cocoa butter. And congratulations!
