Pregnancy & Parenting - 8 November 2006

My son is a 4th grader he has an easy teacher and all she does is send review sheets home for homework. His 3rd grade teacher was very hard and he had tons of work each night and 2 projects for each 6 weeks. It was hard but he was challenged and so was I. My son is very smart and I dont want him to get lazy because he has an easy teacher thsi year. I want him to stay sharp in his subjects. He still brings home all A's and one B. He just dont have to try as hard as he did last year. What can I do to keep him sharp. I give him 5 th grade worksheets I get off the net but he hates to do them and I dont wanna force them on him, What else could I do? He say as long as he get good grades I should be happy with that and stop givin him extra work.HELP!

Hey, my fiance and I are trying for a baby. We have been together for almost 4 years now. We tried last month but didn't really plan it out all well during ovulation time. Well this month we planned it just right during ovulation time. Well she has been complaining about head aches, pains in the stomach, feeling dizzy, and feeling cold all the time yet her temperature is normal? She says she can't lay on her stomach anymore at night she has to sleep on her side. She does have the sore breasts as well. We have another week left before she is due her period or have it late (hoping it will be late and she is preg.) What do you all think? I am anxious and we both want a baby. We will be taking a test if she is late, but I am anxious now and want to get peoples opinions.

What does a woman really want from her man when she is pregnant. I don't generally consider myself insensitive but it seems like every time I figure out what will make her feel safe and secure she changes the rules on me. Is this really hormones or is she checking to see how far I will go or is she just mean?

Okay.. well since some of you know, I had my last period on Oct. 10th... the one before that was Sept.16th, anyways...
That was a 24 day cycle, and i havent yet gotten my period and its already a 30 day cycle today.. I dont know how the whole thing works with the 14 day of ovulation thing, but last night itook the time to try to REFRESH my memory on when i tried conceiving in October.. I realized i had sex during Oct. 13th, 19th, 22nd, 24th, (i think 25h) 27th, and 29th. I think i ovualted in between the days.. but i took a preg. test 2 days ago and it came out negative.. i think it would of been too early to tell....??? Does anyone think im preg?? Thanks

I am 15 weeks pregnant but since last week I have been feeling something in my lower tummy, similar to the feeling of a pulse, but more spontaneous. Sometimes it is combined with little twinges and it's not like the usual windy feeling! It is my first baby and everything suggests I should not feel this for sometime yet but I am sure it's not trumps. Can anyone help?

My son is nearly 4 years old. He refuses to have his hair cut. He used to be fine with having it done but now he goes mad. Normally hes such a placid kid, but when it comes to hair cut time he fights, cries screams and its really difficult. No hairdressers will do it as they say its dangerous as he moves about and kicks up a fuss. So now I have to get his dad to hold him down while I cut it. But that makes us feel really bad, it breaks my heart to see him so upset. It started after a barber once accidentally snipped his ear. It's a shame as he has lovely hair and could be styled really nice if only he would sit still! Any ideas??
