If I had sex and my fiance came in me a few days after ending my period, could I get pregnant? He also came in me when I was on my period. I do have problems with my period could that reduce my risk of getting pregnant?

and when would i start showing signs of being pregnant? I always heard that you couldnt get pregnant on your period. and that your chances of getting pregnant are higher a week before and a week after your period. If anyone has proof of this please reply to my question.

Well Jenn are you wanting to be pregnant? If not you should be on some kind of birth control.. there are all kinds of things out there now that you can use besides a condom.. I know guys don't like to use them.. but having sex weather on your period or before or after.. there is always a chance of getting pregnant. My periods were also always irregular and it seemed like all i had to do is look at a guys thing and i got pregnant.. hope that you are more resistant that i was.. or you will have a dozen of them before you figure out what is happening.
I had my tubes tied after 3 beautiful girls..
Don't worry about it . wait a until it has been a couple of weeks since you guys played around and get a cheap little kit from oneof you dollar stores and check yourself . they work really good and are pretty accurate if you follow directions.
good luck in which ever way you are wanting this to go.. but if not pregnant get on some birth control.. just go in and talk to your doctor.. He or she will help you to decide which is best for you..because you can't trust a man to take care of this.. All they worry about is the sex part.

When in doubt take a pregnancy test. There are always risks when you have unprotected sex.

Having unprotected sex before your period is more riskier than after. Ovulation usually occurs between 12 and 16 days before your period is due. Women with a 28 cycle are most likely ovulating at day 14.

The egg is released mid cycle, so the period is relatively safe. But there is no way to guarantee it. The only way to be sure is to use a pregnancy test kit. Most chemists have one.
Problems with periods do not reduce the risk of pregnancy in themselves but if the problem is due to fibroids or poly-cystic ovaries then this can. Still this is clutching at straws. Get the kit and find out.

According to the American Pregnancy Association you can get pregnant during your period. Here is what it says "Can I get pregnant during my period?
Pregnancy can occur from intercourse that takes place during a period. This is because sperm can live in the body for up to five days, and if a woman ovulates soon after her period, then conception could take place from intercourse that occurred during her period."

This is a great website that provides alot of clarification to all the pregnancy myths.
