I have 2 co-wkrs. one does not want kids the other does and says that the one who doesn't is selfish for not having any. I told the one who doesn't want kids to stick 2 her guns because I was born of a mother who didnt' want kids and it was not fun. I also feel that is something you should want in your heart and soul an be ready for the experience and the responsibility. That if she truly does not want children and has made plans not to have them then that is very mature. I told the woman who can't have children that she is self - centered; telling someone they should have a baby because she can't. She would not be the one raising or caring for it in any way especially financially. I told her that it was very mature of that girl to be placed on bc's so she can't get pregnant and no one should have a baby so someone else can live throught them vicariously. What do you think?

My hubby and I have been TTC for 4 years. I am finally going to the doctors to see what the problem is.

My question is; what do they test for? Will it be in one visit, or several?

I am really scared to learn that something is wrong with either me or my hubby.

If you have been through this and know a bit about the procedures, please fill me in.

And if you don’t mind, please let me know how long it took you to conceive.

Thank you.

This is mental! I am going to be 40 weeks next wednesday, went to my doc checkup yesterday, had a different doctor as my doc was unavailable. He noticed I have gained 6 pounds in 6 days, and asked me if I was having twins and if not then I am sure going to have a big baby! Last scan was at 24 weeks showing 1 baby, always one heart beat heard. He did the usual feel around the belly and believed if it one baby 'hopefully' I can have it naturally. Since I hit my 3rd tri I gained weight rapidly. So far in total I have gained 81 pounds! And I drink so much water I get so thirsty I have swollen everywhere lol and have the biggest belly in the world! lol Just wondering, could the doctor be wrong about the size of baby and it just me with all the fat? lol I don't believe I am having twins even though my sister is one and twins and triplets run on my father's side and twins on my mum's side. Oh and I'm eating normal lol. Any ideas would be appreciated lol.

Okay this is my secong pregnancy.....

The first I had no symptoms and felt great and had a lovely baby boy.

This time....I feel extremely tired, boobs have never been so sore in my life, acne like a crazed teenager, moody, and not to mention some morning sickness now and then. I generally have cravings for sweet things but occasionally salty.

Any guesses on gender??

She is 6 months old.

Each time we go out for a stroll, she comes back with at least one mosquito bite, even though she's wearing pants, socks, shoes, long sleeves, a hat... It seems to me like mosquitos can bite through your clothes!

What do I do?

Thank you!

I had my perriod on october 18th. Yesterday a started spotting (sometime brown sometimes white) discharge. I usually have a 30 days cycle but started spotting on day 21. We obviously had unprotected sex since we are trying to conceive. Could it be that i am finally pregnant or is it just my body messing up ?

Everynight I cook dinner for the family. My two-year-old daughter seems to never want to eat what we are having. Sometimes I put it off, thinking perhaps she isn't hungry. But after dinner she instantly asks for "snacks". She doesn't want "real" food. Any advice as to what I can do to make her want to eat with the family?

My wife and I have a 7 month old son and we are looking for a solution to our problem. I dont get home from work unitl 6:30 pm, and she just got a new job that starts at 5pm three days a week. That makes an hour and a half that we need someone to watch him, but I have heard that daycares make you have a minimum amount of hours to participate with them. Are there any good options out there, besides friends and family, that we could use to watch him?

I don't want to announce my pregnancy until I am "safe" at about 3 months. My husband wants to tell everyone right away because we have been wanting a baby so long he can't keep it in.

I am just worried about telling everyone and then possibly miscarrying. I don't want to tell my friends or co-workers until I am about 4 months pregnant. A woman at my work announced her pregnancy and lost it at 6 weeks, she was so upset when people asked about the baby. My friend announced her pregnancy at 5 weeks and the same thing happened to her.

When should you tell your family?

When should you tell your friends?

When should you tell your boss/co-worker?

What do you think?

I have purchased an ovulation kit because I am not sure when I ovulate. I have a approximately a 30 day cycle - some months its 29 and some its 28 but mostly its 30.... some info says start testing on day 14 of my cycle (I have 5 sticks) some say day 11 - I don't want to miss it or waste sticks by testing too early - the tests are EXPENSIVE -
So Today is day 12. Tempted to start testing today. Also, monitoring my cervical mucous - yesterday ws clear and slippery today is thicker and a bit white - not sticky/stretchy like "egg white" though....

I am 15 weeks pregnant. 2 ultrasounds (because I am high risk from high blood pressure with my first baby) everything is going great. I'm scared to death to buy anything or even think ahead. It took me 4 years to get pregnant with my first and 5 years for this one. Do you feel I should worry about this pregnancy as much as I am or am I just over reacting? I realize I'm in the so called "safe zone", but could I be fortunate enuff to actually have 2 children when I've had such a hard go of it to get pregnant? I just keep telling myself that no one is that lucky.....call me crazy if you wish, you just won't get the 10 points for best answer! LOL J/K

I am six weeks late, which is not normal, I have been feeling sick all day, I have back aches, but I did a test that came back negative, but looked like something more wanted to come through. My husband called the doctor and we are getting in as soon as we can. Could this mean that I am pregnant?

My best friend and I both have step sons the same age (ten) and we both have sons that are three years old. We live acrossed the street from eachother. She allows her three year old out with the ten year old by themselves while I won't let my three year old out in our gated yard without me standing right there. I've expressed my concern and yet she still sends the pair outside with out supervision...please advise?! Am I being over protective?? I mean he's only three!

I am 14 weeks pregnant for the first time. I have been breaking out on my face since puberty, but never on my chin and jaw like now. Also, they are big, painful zits rather than the normal clogged pores that I had before. I have heard various theories on guessing the gender of the baby... but I am wondering who else expirienced this symptom, and what gender the baby was for you? (Im figuring its a boy / testosterone)

Hey ladies. My question might sound strange, yet I want to varify something for myself. Last month I had my period 7-8 days delay. When I took a pregnancy test after 4 days of delay it showed negative, yet the period didn't arrive. And on the 8th day of the delay we had quite a crazy sex with my hubby (it was hot and deep). The next morning my period came. And I had it for 3 days as usual period and then 3 additional days of light spotting. What could it be? Just delayed period, early pregnancy miscarriage, or what? If you can help me, please explain this. Thanks in advance. Natasha. Good luck to everyone who is trying to conceive.

I am 5 weeks pregnant and I'm not sure what to do. I went to the clinic yesterday for a pregnancy test and it tested positive. And now my boyfriend and I are completely clueless as to what to do next. I'm 22 years old and he's 25, we are at a good age in life to have children, but we fear that we are not ready yet, at least not for a couple years at least.

So my choices are to have the child and hopefully raise him/her well, or adoption, in which my boyfriend doensn't really want because he doesn't want his first born to be adopted out. And then there is abortion. I've already been throught this once and I'm not all that sure I can do it again. I hate this situation I'm in, yes, I'm sure some of you are thinking "you should've been more careful, like use protection", but I was taking the pill and I just kept forgetting to take it the same time everyday, so I ended up missing a few days then had to wait for the next turn around.

So if anyone out there can help me, thanks.
