I am six weeks late, which is not normal, I have been feeling sick all day, I have back aches, but I did a test that came back negative, but looked like something more wanted to come through. My husband called the doctor and we are getting in as soon as we can. Could this mean that I am pregnant?

pregnancy test take 2 to 4 weeks to have accurate results, but you may be one of the few people that it takes longer. my friend had to go back every two weeks for 2 and a half months before she got a correct test, and her ultrasound showed she had been pregnant for almost three months. If you think somethings up, you're probably right!

If I had to guess, I would say yes. But to be sure, I would take another at home preg. test and see what it says, also regardless of the result of that test you should still go to see the doctor. U may still be pregnant and the hormone level is so low that the test is having a hard time reading it. Or you might not be pregnant, in which case your doctor can help you figure out whats going on, and y you are 6 weeks late. Hope all goes well!!

I found out that I was pregnant when I was around six weeks. When I had my first sonogram to estimate the due date and the conception. I found out I was pregnant on the day I was rushed to the ER for faiting, I had a blood pregnancy test done for me on that day ( which is supposed to be the most accurate) and that one came out negative. Early in pregnancy especially ( especially iif it is your first) hormonal levels are too little for tests to pick up. You might be pregnant

Why didn't you take a test earlier? 6 weeks late is not normal at all! I would have been freakin out after just a few DAYS of being late. There could be something wrong.

Yes you could be. Six weeks is a little long to be past your period and not be pregnant, but it could also be due to stress or anything too. See your doctor and hopefully you'll get the result you and your husband are wanting. Good luck!

my first test was the same it was a plus sign kind. the one line was really dark and the other was so faint I could barely see it. When I asked they said that if you can see any indication of a second line it is possitive.
I decided to take another test, the wone that spells out pregnant or not pregnant within seconds it said pregnant

if you are six weeks late i would say you are. they will probably do a blood test at the doctors office, they are more accurate than home tests. good luck!!

Even if there was the faintest of lines on that hpt, you are pregnant. Take another test, even before you go to the doctor.

You could be pregnant. They might try a blood test to be sure.
I was 2 months pregnant before my urine tests could register any HCG.
