My daughter was most active at night. My husband and I would be up all night staring at, touching, and talking to my belly. Sometimes in the mornings she'd give a kick here and there but always when I'd lay down to rest after about 8pm or so and she's start rolling and kicking away. Sometimes only on one side of my tummy and sometimes it was all over at the same time. So yeah it's perfectly normal for your baby to have "peak hours". Congrats and best of luck!

If that is the only time you are laying down, or sitting and resting for more than 15-20 minutes, it can be completely normal. The baby is basicly on a carnival ride all day long with you walking, bending, climbing stairs, etc... so when you lay down at night....it's free time for baby! Try laying down or resting for an hour during the day. I bet you would feel the baby move then too. Good Luck!

You are probably too busy during the day to notice....also, when you are moving around it is much like rocking a newborn...it makes them sleep. As long as you are feeling your baby kick....then don't worry. I don't know how far along you are, but I am 31 weeksa dnjust within the past 4 weeks or so, I started to notice more during the day because the baby is stronger and bigger.
Good luck to you and Congrats!

My daughter did sort of the same thing. I'd feel her kick some during the day but the hardest and most kicking came in the late evening, around 7 pm.
I don't think it's anything to be worried about, but if you go a day and don't feel as much kicking as you usually do, notify your doctor.

If youre less than 22 weeks, sure. You're laying down and still then, and more aware of whats happening. If you are more than 22 weeks and suddenly only feel movement at night and not during the day then it might be a problem.
It takes time for the baby to get big enough for its kicks to be felt during daily activities.
It sounds fine to me :)

It's not that you're not feeling him/her kick during the day, It's just that you're up and moving about, And don't notice it, But when you lie down at night, You're still...And notice it more..Also, They say- walking is like rocking the baby to sleep, So when you're doing all your daily activities, H/she is happily being 'rocked' to sleep during the day :-)
Very normal, I'm 39wks & 3 days, And still- My little girl usually does most of her moving at night.
Congrats!!!

That is probably when you feel it because you are still and not moving around alot. I feel mine mostly at night because during the day Im too busy and not thinking about it much. But once I lay down the baby is moving around alot.

im 32 weeks along and my baby does the same. When im up and moving during the day he stays still and when i settle down at night he wants to be up and moving. I was told that when your up and moving around its like a rocking motion that puts the baby to sleep and then when your sitting or sleeping it wakes up because theres no more motion!

Sure it just means that he is sleeping in the day, or oyu don't notice it. Seeing as thoguh you're fasting at night that may also be why. Try keeping a diary of where and when you feel the baby.
