I'm pro-life, but rape is one of those things that I would probably chose to have an abortion for. If I was raped I would probably take the morning after pill if possible so it wouldn't have really developed into much of a baby (it wouldn't have really attached itself to the wall of the uterus by then.) I don't think I could handle seeing the face of my sweet baby and see the rapist in them. You also don't know what kinds of things you could be passing on to this baby including AIDS.

No... I was in this situation... and they asked me if I wanted the morning after pill... I said no. I didn't end up getting pregnant, but if I would have, I would not have an abortion. It's not the baby's fault. I understand if some ppl would, but in my case, I'd love that baby with all my heart.

Would you get an abortion while taking birth control pills? I just recently got preggo while on the pills, it was a big shock cause I had been on them for 5 years with no problems. However, again, I'd love any baby no matter what my situation were... and I can say after having my son, I'm happier than ever I chose to have him... he is amazing and means the world to me.

God forbid, but if that happened to me, I would insist on a morning after pill. Sorry, but this is one scenario where I could not carry on with the pregnancy. I have kids & love them to death. In a *normal* relationship I would never abort -- or due to my carelessness -- but rape -- no way. I was asked if I would abort if I knew the baby I was carrying was disabled (mentally/physically) -- and no, I wouldn't abort.

mmm that´s a hard question... I would have to say yes!
But before I even knew that I was pregnant because I got raped, once you get raped you can actually ask the doctors and nurses to give you a vaginal wash, so that any chances that you might have had of getting pregnant are reduced to practically 0 (zero)

besides.. I know it´s not the baby´s fault, but neither is mine... so I don´t see why I should carry the baby of the person that completely hurt me, not only physical but physcological and emotional too.. I don´t think that I would be able to love somebody which was created out of an obligated act.. I wouldn´t be able to look at the baby even less being able to love him/her.

I understand that there are women that can actually do so.. but I ain´t one of them!

Probably because I wouldn't want a daily reminder of my rape and I wouldn't want a rapist's baby but I've never been in that situation so I cannot say for sure!

That is a hard question. I think it would be hard because of the situation, but i dont know if i could carry full term and give up for adoption, as a mother and 6 months prego that is a hard one. I guess there is alot of other life factors to think about too for me.

No, I couldn't because I would see it as murder. If I could not keep the baby because of my feelings, then I would give it up for adoption to someone who wanted a baby. However, the baby would be half mine and I think I would have to keep it. I guess no one would really know what they would do until something like that happened.

Yes, but under conditions. I would have it done immediatly(eg. morning after pill) and within the first month.
I know women that have kept their rapists babies and they have a lot of problems with the kids asking about "daddy" and knowing that they are having a baby of someone who did such a horrible thing to them.

no. the child did nothing to me, and it is still a child, a living thing whether anyone else cares or not. if it were me: i would still love that child because it's mine, forget the jerk that did it, hope they catch him and throw him behind bars. but the child did nothing wrong it's just another victim of a terrible wrong-doing. personally i am neither for or against abortion; it IS your body but you have to remember there is a life inside you, and to me it IS murder.
