Yes, even if the line was really light you still could be pregnant.

If the test line was strong and the pregnant result light then its a high possibility, as normally we do test early in pregnancy only a few weeks then the hormone in your urine would be weak, the further you get the stronger the reading, If you want to wait a few days and then use the first urine of the morning then do another test and you should get a better result. Otherwise you can go to your doctor and get a blood test as they are very accurate and you will need to have a blood test to confirm pregnancy anyway. Best wishes.

If it showed up within the three minutes the test is supposed to run then you are pregnant. If it showed up later, it could be an evaporation line. I love the digital tests. They're not that expensive (I got a 2-pack at Wal-mart for $10) and it says in words pregnant or not pregnant. That's what I went out and bought when I got a faint line. It came up pregnant and now I'm 22 weeks.

Yes. That's usually how it shows up. The darker line is the line that shows up whether or not you're pregnant to let you know the test is working correctly. The line that shows up that lets you know you're pregnant usually shows up lighter. The variation of light and darkness of it can be caused due to the amount of the pregnancy hormone that was in your urine at the time you took the test.

I took a pregnancy test 3 days ago and the same thing happened. The test paper even says even if one of the lines are faint then it is POSITIVE. One of my lines was very dark and the other just dotted. More than lickely you are pregnant! CONGRATS....

You should read the directions and take another test. The last time I took a hpt, I used the kind that has a digital readout that says "pregnant" or "not pregnant". Very easy to use and reliable!

2 lines = pregnant, no count how faint a line is. attempt back first situation interior the morning once you haven't any longer urinated for 4 hours. that should assist darken the lines for you! Congrats to you!

YES! the same thing happened to me- I took a generic Meijer brand test, and had the same thing happen! So I went to get an EPT test, and yep, I was preggo!
