I've 4 children, 20, 18, 14, 13. People compliment them on growing into fine young people. They ask me how I did it and I have no idea what went right. Is that odd.

no my kids are 20 and 22 and are good kids in school and not on drugs or crime, I am a single mom and I am so proud of how they turned out! Pat yourself on the back!!

I will get to you answer hold on. I came from a big family 2 sisters and 3 brothers so there is 6 all together just in case if someone didn't know how to add. We all did okay well we have a sister that is okay but a little weird but she still means well what can I say how it word here My mother did it all and My oldest sister is the back bone and the whole family love everyone. No one in jail no one fights with each other well not for a long time but we all love each other.
I only have a son and he has been through a lot and I have custody of him and his mother plays with his mind a lot and I have started him into counselling and he shows me love everyday and every night be there best friend and love them and let them know you are there for them and they will do there best not to let you down. You did a great job Look into there eye this holiday and let them know you love them.

I don't think it's odd. You just did what you thought was right for raising your kids and whatever you did, worked. If you're getting compliments, give yourself a pat on the back. Maybe you were there friend as well as their parent and they knew they could come to you for anything.

its not odd its a compliment naturally your a good parent if your child never got an arrest before 18 and has got a sense of oise and rational behavior

No, it's not odd, I get the same question all of the time. How did you raise such fine son's? I always say the same thing, I was the parent, not the other way around. My hats off to you !!!
