Pregnancy & Parenting - 8 November 2006

My husband and I our expecting our first born in December. And we just cant wait. But this sunday they flew him out to iraq. He's only an admin and Im thinking "he has no special job why do they need him?". Anyways, I have no family in the city Im in and I was wondering why they couldnt just wait 2 more months so he can witness his first borns birth. Do they have any special leave for this situation.

I am 36 years old married woman. My husband did vasectomy 16 years ago, so I haven't had any chance to know if I am fertile or not. I went to see a reproductive doctor and she suggested me to do the HSG test first. If the test shows that I am fertile, I should do IUI or IVF to get conceived. But those operations are very expensive and I want to skip those test and do IUI directly. My question is that is it possible for me just do simple IUI(artificial insemination) without going through all those tests to get pregnant? Who can do that for me?

Ok, last year for some reason kids I don't even friggin know at my school started a rumor that I have a death list...you know, a list of people someone wants to kill....
If you knew me, you'd know that I'm not capable of crap like that....its sick and I'm too moral to hurt anybody, let alone myself.
Anyways, this guy was told that he's on my "death list". He sent me an email saying it freaked him out and he wanted to talk about it immediately. I was scared too. To think that some jerk told this guy who is actually one of the few guys who has never teased me since I've known him (about 8 years) is very upsetting.

So, what do I say to this guy? I want to make it clear that I'd never hurt a living creature, and that whoever told him this is probably mad at me or hates me; there's people around here that hate me for no reason, its just fun to tease me. I have to talk to him soon.

PLEASE don't say "ignore it" cause its taken very seriously in high school, especially around here. THX

Right now I am having pains in my back, and a burning sensation in my stomache and mild cramps in lower part of abdomen. I am due for AF tomorrow. I do not ever have any signs or symptoms before AF comes so that is not the case, my boobs are getting more sore by the hour it seems it seems as if the my shirt is making them hurt even more, i am very uncomfortable, and and am so very tired right now and have been for the last couple of days, i keep getting a wet sensation down below i keep thinking it is AF but it is more discharge. the discharge is heavier but not too heavy it is a milky color with no foul smell. any one have any ideas as to what the heck is going on.

We have 16 almost 17 month old twins. My daughter has bitten my son several times at home and in the last week has bitten him a couple of times at day care. Today, however, she resorted to biting another child in their class after he tried to play with the toy she had at the time. We put her in time out when she bites at home and they do the same at daycare. What is the best way to stop the behavior? Whenever the biting has occured, it has been over a toy.

I am just curious...First let me state I have pregnancy tests here at my house, but I don't want to waste them and my period is due in 2 days...I'm just wondering what are the chances...Of course I will wait until I have a missed period or whatever, but I want to know what you guys think...

The size 6 are fine in the waist on my 14 mo old that weighs 35 lbs & is 35 inches long, but they are too short... any suggestions on brands? Luvs are way too short, pampers cruisers work but biggest they come are size 5 and plus pampers are expensive. I really don't want to use pull ups as he's not ready. thanks.

We have all heard where u drink alcohol and it can damage your baby or whatever, But i really dont belive it when people say "even 1 drink" can harm a baby..Is this true? I know you can harm your baby but not if u drink it like every other month or so. Thats like saying pollution outside is hurting the baby too since we live in it.

my dr. has recommended my baby be on a study.it's for asthma patients.baby's between the age of 6-12 mos.flovent inhalers.my 8 yr old daughter uses one,but to me my baby just seems to young to be on something like this.what would u do?any useful info on flovent?i do trust my dr. but do have my doubts too.please help.
