I need help, my sister in law just told me that we need to start planning a baby shower. I am not that big with the whole baby shower thing but my husband wants one however he would rather push it off on her and i would rather plan with him. He told me we could plan together but how do i get him to understand that since this is "our" baby we should plan this and how would i tell my sister in law that i would rather plan the baby shower with him ? After all i dont feel as though its right for my husband to push the baby shower on his sister cause he dont want to deal with the planning and i dont think its right that my sister in law does the planning its not fair to us cause this is our baby. And she should leave the planning up to us whether we want one or if we dont instead of taking matters into her own hands.

Hi - i have had slight skin problems for a while but is it possible for it to improve while i'm pregnant?

If not, any tips? I look after my skin with products and only wear make up for the length of time that i HAVE TO !

We have a problem with transition times at the nursery school that I work at.
We are very fortunate that we have large very tastefully decorated premises.
I work in the 3-5 year old room and we have a large area that we take the children to for things like meals, woodwork, computer etc.,
It is ok when you are going for a activity because we take them in small groups of about 6 or 7 and they all walk along quietly and listen, but meal times are very hard work and I would appreciate some suggestions.
They are very noisy walking along corridoor between classroom and lunch room, shouting and running. It is very echoey and I think they like to hear the difference pitches. Problem is they disturb everyone else. Also once they have finished eating, a few find it hard to sit and wait for the others and start to get up and run about. we are continually herding them back to the table like puppies. its echoey here too and if a few are doing it then they have problem hearing us.

I have been with my fiancé for over 7 years now, and we are both 27. My fiancé believes I should start letting him ejaculate inside me. Even though I am on the pill, Ortho, I have always made him withdraw, because as we all know, the pill is not 100% and one can still get pregnant on the pill even if the partner does withdraw. I agree with him, and believe that we are at a point where this would be okay. I am curious how many other females out there let their partner do this?

She is a good daughter and of course i don't expect much from her now, but she gets angry when she doesn't get her way and she would throw tantrums...i'm a parent who doesn't believe in hittin, but i do pat on her butt or lightly hit her hand if she gets out of hand...but when she's with my mother in law she does the same thing but she won't do anything about it...when i go and pick up my daughter i sometimes stay for a while and talk, but she'll come out with these comments especially when my daughter is doin something that she isnt suppose to be doin, she'll come out and say, watch out or u gonna get hit, or if u keep it up u gonna get hit...i feel she doesn't like the fact that i discipline my child first with words then a little pat here or there if she doesn't listen...please let me know if what i'm doin to my child is right...i just want my child to be well discipline and be well respected.

I am ttc and am wondering what ovulation feels like for the women that can feel it. I have af cramping around cd 10-13, and a slight tug at the right or sometimes left around the same time. Do you think that could be ovulation?

Adoption? Is it at all possible to do an adoption without a case worker?Okay say someone has a baby that they are uncapable of taking care of,somebody else wants the baby. Can you hire a lawyer and have the name legaly changed.Is this possible? I know this is a strange question Lol, but I would appriciate any advice.

My friend has a 17 month old boy and he is just now starting to stand on his own. He will not walk. He takes one step and falls. I have an 18 month old and she was walking at 10 months. So I compare them and I am concerned he is "slow". My daughter can say about 20 words and runs and climbs. Her son just sits there and I have only heard him say 3 words. She does not have insurance so she will not take him to the doctor to make sure he is ok. It bothers me that he is a bump on a log and my daughter is advanced compared to him and they are only a month apart in age.

My fiancé and I recently had sex where he did not withdraw completely. I am on the pill, Ortho. My period came right on time, with normal flow for the first two day, the third day was very light, and fourth day hardly anything. I am usually pretty steady right up until the night of the fourth day. My breasts are not tender, I do not have headaches, I do not really “feel pregnant” nor have I really felt sick. My stomach has been upset the past couple of days though, gasy, and I seem to be peeing more than usual. Has anyone ever still had their period while on the pill, and pregnant? Was it short like mine just was?

I'm taking my twelve month old daughter to the pediatrician tomorrow for a well-baby visit, but I haven't been able to get her medical records transferred from her old doctor in Arizona (we now live in Indiana). I'm sure they'll do the regular stuff- listen to her chest, get her height/weight, etc...but will they do her immunizations? I don't have a copy of her official records from the doctor's office, but I do have a State of Arizona shot record book that was filled out by the nurse at her last pediatrician's office...all the shots are dated and signed for. Do you think that would be acceptable? I don't want her to get behind. If they don't do them tomorrow, do you think that scheduling another appointment would really make that much difference, so long as she gets the vaccines within the recommended time frame? I'm not even sure what she's supposed to get tomorrow, but I think it's the MMR. If anyone has any info about this, please let me know. Thanks.

He has literally cried over an hour before, two hours once! Who could let their baby cry this long?? I have done this for weeks now... but to no avail.
