I have to be honest why i am asking, I slept with someone 6 weeks ago and they are telling me they are pregnant now and that its a boy. At the time she had told me her tubes were tied. I did not !@#$ inside, but i was stupid not to suit up. Now she wants me to send money, I offered to go to a doctor and was told she will take care of it alone. I thought impossible to know if its a boy or not so early, so i am thinking she is full of !@$#$%... There are no super baby tests in the country I live like some of you have told me to try, just the regular doctor with ultrasound if needed. Any suggestions?

You can find out 7 weeks after your missed period (5 weeks gestationally). You can use a test called Gender Mentor. It gave accurate results for me and two of my friends at less then 2 months pregnant! They are so sure of the results that they offer a 200% money back guarantee! Check it out.

I think she is trying to pull a fast one ask her for a pregnancy cert if not tell her to do a pregnancy test in front of you so you can see it for your self also why would she need money now ? got to the scans with her and see what dates the hosp comes up with as it might not be yours sorry but that's all i can think of as there is no way of knowing boy or girl at 6 weeks only intuition!!! good luck but don't give money out so soon .

Waiting til the ultrasound and it can vary as to when they can tell - they told me at 18 weeks that i was having a boy.

None of the wives tales were true for me - guess all you like but until they can see something i wouldnt believe it. Even then i have heard they can get it wrong but i hope not as i am happy having a boy.

I am 24 weeks.

Old wives' tales are not accurate, I mean even ultrasound scans can lie at times; but they are the most accurate. People told me when I was expecting both my boys that it would be girls because I looked so beautiful and my tummy was nicely spread. Now tell me how accurate that is!

The only way to know is to wait until you can have an ultrasound done. Depending on how far along you are and whether or not the baby will cooperate, it's the only way to know.

Okay you have to believe me on this one.. for many many generations my family has done this and it worked every single time..
Here it goes

Take a needle and thread make the thread pretty long with the needle at the end,
Slide the needle and thread three times on the side of the womans wrist and then move it to the top of the wrist on the inner side of the arm and if the needle spins in a circle its a girl and if it goes in a line it is a boy. this really works. we have done it for many generations and it has workd everytime. hope this helps ya

an ultrasound is the most reliable way to find out, i think that you can get one at 12 weeks.
