I've always heard that your body knows it's pregnant and most women dream about it. I had a dream the other night that I was expecting. Should my husband and I run to the pharmacy for a test?

Wow! I never heard that before, but the only two times I ever dreamt I was pregnant, I actually was. And the first time I was in a department store trying on maternity clothes and I told my friend "I think its a girl" and it was! But are you trying to get pregnant? Because I heard that if you think about something a lot, you tend to dream about it. I never planned to get pregnant so my dreams came as a complete shock. I would like to tell you to wait it out, but I KNOW that that is somewhat impossible, especially if we are the least bit excited, so go ahead and take the test!!! GOOD LUCK either way!!!1

If it's a possibility... by all means get the test. Just be sure to be prepared for the outcome... whatever that may be.
Dreams are your brain's way of sending you a message.
It doesn't mean necessarily that you are pregnant, but maybe your biological clock is ready and felt you needed a wake up call.
Are you ready to answer it?

You could but I highly doubt it. I have had a reoccurring dream since I met my husband. I always have twin boys and a baby girl. diff ages and diff places in each dream but kids are always the same. I wish that was how it is going to turn out though. after 5 yrs I am finally 14 weeks preg. Good Luck to you though

Eh, a test won't tell you anything until you've already missed a period.

If you're feeling the other stuff (do you have moments where you just feel euphoric lately?), then congratulations!

Alternately, maybe you're fertile right now and your dreams are symptomatic of your biological clock ticking down to motherhood. Scary, eh?

Sometimes, though, a dream is just a dream.

Are you late? Are you trying??
Maybe your thinking about it so much your mind can't get a break from the thought even while you're sleeping!!! If it will help go spend the 10 or 15 bucks to have some peace of mind!!!

My mom always knew when I was pregnant...she always dreamt of fish....go figure!!

If you feel that you need to do a pregnancy test then do it. The dreams aren't supposed to come until later in the pregnancy, like in the middle/end of the second trimester. www.pregnancy-info.net
