Adoption? Is it at all possible to do an adoption without a case worker?Okay say someone has a baby that they are uncapable of taking care of,somebody else wants the baby. Can you hire a lawyer and have the name legaly changed.Is this possible? I know this is a strange question Lol, but I would appriciate any advice.

Yes.You don't need a case worker to legally adopt.Its called an open adoption.Thats how my parents adopted me.

You can hire a lawyer, but they will have to file aoption papers, you can not just change the name.
