Congratulations on the birth of your newborn.
Its possible to get pregnant so soon after delivery, especially if it was unprotected sex. It wouldn't have mattered if you did it everyday or even twice a day, some women have sex once after delivery and can fall pregnant. You need to take into account that your period may not come back regular after birth but then again it may. Its all depending on your body. If you are worried then you need to get a test or even go back to your doctor and get a blood test to be sure. Best of luck and hope all is well.

I took a long time to get a period... like nine weeks after I had my baby... so I wouldnt worry. I read in a magazine that most women start ovulating again 45 days after their delivery... some can as soon as 21 days.. but that isnt that likely.. but possible. I had sex like three weeks after my baby and Im fine. So I would give it a little bit and maybe start having sex with a condom. If your pregnant... it will be very hard on your body and I read too that you can miscarry! That would be sad... hope this helps!

It depends... If your breast feeding the chances of you falling pregnant are least likely. But that doesn't mean to say you won't fall pregnant. You need to go to a doctor for the right answers & get a prescription for the pill. There are pills you can take that won't effect your milk supply if that is the case.
Another solution is you could send your hubby back to work so their isn't as much opertunity for all that sex & put him onto night duty with the bub so you can get more sleep.
I wouldn't waste any time getting that contraceptive or you'll regret it latter. The sooner the better.

My mind is simply boggled. Your uterus is still shedding its lining isn't it? If so, I think you must be safe. Check with a doctor, or get a pregnancy test (I read in a related question that they are available in dollar stores). It's worth a buck to have that peace of mind.
And if you aren't some weird teenager making up questions, use a condom. Heck, even if you are a weird teenager, use a condom if you don't want to get pregnant.
If you are on the level, you may want to look into some sort of lube, too. But sheesh, I can't imagine this. I wasn't ready for three months, but I know of "year-twins" where one kid was born the third of January and the second was born on Christmas eve. So there's more in heaven and earth than *MY* philosophy admits to, Horatio! Don't take my doubts personally.

Ouchhhhh...for me sex right after delivery would be an absolute no no. Everyones body reacts differently to delivery so it's impossible to predict if you are pregnant, so take a test-congratulations and good luck

This is always a chance you take when you do not use birthcontrol. You have one baby, so you must know this already though. It is a little late to be worrying about being pregnant. If you are pregnant again, do you think you will use birthcontrol after this baby is born?

You could be...alot of doctors tell us that we should wait in having intercourse with our partners cuz we just finish giving birth and that we can get pregnant soon enough...get urself a pregnancy test and see if you are, if you're not pregnant then it could just be your body getting back to the norm of things...it could be late, but still take a pregnancy test just in case.

Of coarse you can be pregnant, however you should have waited or at least used protection if you are pregnant your odds of complications will increase due to just having a baby.
