The size 6 are fine in the waist on my 14 mo old that weighs 35 lbs & is 35 inches long, but they are too short... any suggestions on brands? Luvs are way too short, pampers cruisers work but biggest they come are size 5 and plus pampers are expensive. I really don't want to use pull ups as he's not ready. thanks.

I researched a little. Huggies overnights ( at least according to website ) go up to size 5 only, but pampers cruisers go to size 6 which is good news, but those cruisers are expensive. Currently we use Target store brand in size 6, which I love, and seem longer than some of the name brands ... thanks for the tips. Anyone know of any other longer off-brands?

I know this might sound gross but, my grandma once told me to put an overnight pad inside the pamper!! That might work, and you might be able to use to pamper longer. And there are pads that are way cheaper!

But if you don't want to use that the only other alternative it to start to potty train him. On the weekends stay home all day and play in the hall outside the bathroom. Let him watch what you do before you have to go bathroom, and then show him. He should get the hang of it right away! And don't give him so much liquids. Babies should not get more than 14 oz of milk a day and very little juices and water! You can give him soups, that way he doesn't have to have something extra to drink on the side! Hope these tips help!

If all else fails, go to your doctor, he might have a bladder infection or something. And he's too big! Sorry.

If you need to, you can always use cloth diapers. I don't know, just a thought. What about Huggies? Or maybe the local store brand? I find huggies have a lot of stretch in them.

Walmart's White Cloud or even try Costco branded....I found that Pampers Easy ups are very absorbent and make a good fit on thicker thighs...if you go to Costco or Sam's u should be able to get a larger pack and save that way but Definitely Pampers Easy ups for size u need and they hold like the hoover dam. good luck.

Huggies makes Overnight diapers in size 6 but not every store carries them. They are much longer than regular brands.

hello large diaper seeker! I believe your child is basiclly ready to be trained to use the potty, u can try taking them to the bathroom
when u go, let them sit when u sit and it may also help if you turned the bath sink water on to help there flow come where it should.
