It's not supposed to be painful to be pregnant, it wasn't for me anyway, but I know it is for some women... especially if they have a small frame. Giving birth naturally does hurt but it's worth it.

Every pregnancy is different, and every woman will give you a different answer. Many women are very sick during the first three months because of the hormones in their body, and they can't eat much. The second trimester is more comfortable, the sickness usually subsides and is replaced by a need to eat more as the baby grows. The third trimester can get fairly uncomfortable, especially if the woman has put on a lot of weight. Walking and doing everyday tasks can become difficult. Also as the baby grows there's less room in the woman's uterus so the baby's moving around can be uncomfortable or painful. Birth itself is a painful experience (unless the woman chooses to have painkilling drugs) but once the baby is born all the pain is forgotten.

It's not always painful to have a baby in one's stomach. It is one of the best and worst things in the world. It is so cool to be carrying around a life inside of you. However, especially in the last tri-mester (3 months) it is uncomfortable. It's hard to get comfortable. Often there will be some pain just from the stretching of one's stomach and/or false labor or real labor pains. Giving birth most often is quite painful but isn't too bad with the correct mindset.

Pregnancy is different for everyone. It was very hard for me I think because I have a smaller frame. The last 3 months of the pregnancy are the hardest because of all the weight putting pressure on your pelvis and hips. Everything is stretching and shifting to make room for the baby to pass through the vaginal canal.

Birth is painful, but tollerable. The important thing is to keep stress and anxiety levels down. When you get stressed, it releases hormones that actually heighten the pain. The best way to combat anxiety is to super educate yourself about the birth process and I don't mean the "what to expect when you're expecting." The more you know and understand, the less scary it is. Try reading the "thinking woman's guide to a better birth."

It depends on the pregnancy. Some are harder than others, while some have no problems at all. Natural child birth is very painful. Both of mine were natural, no drugs what so ever. I can't even begin to give an example as to how much pain it was. I will say the pain is so intense that you can't even see or think. BUT, some how once you are holding the most beautiful thing you have ever saw in your arms, you forget all about the pain and feel so rewarded. I would do it again in a heart beat for my children.

Its differant for every women and every pregnancy, Its not ment to be painful, but sometimes it can be very uncomfortable, the first trimester can be full of morning sickness, its not painful when the baby kicks, it sort of feels like if you put your tounge to your check, the harder you do it it more it can hurt. streaching is very uncomfortable as its sometimes like you have a big stich in your groin, it can hurt but its not a full on pain, I think the backache and heartburn is the worst, as it can be constant.

There are times when the baby moves into a position that drills so if you just massage it out its fine, the pains normally don't last to long but can return a few times a day. Certian positions can be more uncomfortable then others. I personally find if I wear a belt the baby will sit so low that I have to take my belt off and then it moves, babys don't like tight clothes. The brackston hicks are very tight contractions of your abdoman, After doing situps or something when your stomache is so tight it hurts but it only last a few minutes.

Labour varys from women to women, I found labour quite easy, I was determind to have a natural birth without drugs as long as possible, I had a water birth first time and the water was very wonderful it was a pain reliefe in itself. I looked at the contractions as they only last 60 seconds each then you get a break so it was more mind over matter for me, some women find it very difficault, I just kept thinking it will be over in a minute then I'll be right. It got harder once the contractions were really close but I still had a minute break so it was OK, I lasted 9 hours the first time.
My daughter on the other hand was very full on, the labour was 55 mins from start till she was in my hands. So the contractions were one ontop of the other from start to finish, Again I used water as a relief, the shower was very helpful.

Birth was painful for me, the first time I had been in the bath for ages so my skin was soft and the tearing wasn't that bad. But second time around I ws on the bed and the tearing was horrible, it was a burning sensation but once I tore she just slid out in one push.

Pregnancy, Labour and birth can vary from every baby to women, I personally think every part of the whole experance is worth it, every good bad and uncomfortable pain is worth it once holding your baby.

Its not painful to have a baby in your stomach. Giving birth is a whole nother thing....its hard to describe but contractions are like no other pain I have ever felt. I guess if you tried pushing a 8 pound baby out of your rectum, you might get SOME of the sensation.
