I would suggest a Dr as well, but it deffinately looks like Hives...a rash brought on by an allergic reaction. I have more allergies than I can count, and get them frequently. Benyadryl can help, there is even an anti itch cream, but a Dr would have to help you single out what could have caused it.

maybe it's from something he ate? Has he tried anything new (food) in the last couple of days? If so, don't feed him it... and stick to things you know haven't caused this. I know they tend to get rashes here and there, but our son hasn't gotten any like that yet... so all I can think of is a food he ate.
Yea, could be a reaction from the chicken pox vaccination- I'd call a nurse line (or the doctor if you don't have a nurse line to call), and ask them about it... they are usually good with questions and can let you know if you need to come in or not. Give him a warm bath- the Aveno Baths are good to use.. and see what happens... then tomorrow call the doctor and see what they say. Goodluck!

Could be heat. My daughter has gotten that before. Could also be from getting the chicken pox vaccine if he has gotten it. All 3 of my children got chicken pox from the vaccine. I would keep an eye on him and if it isn't gone within 24 hours I would consider taking him in to the doctor. Also try a luke warm bath. It may be an allergic reaction to something. Good luck

does he have a fever? Looking in a medical book, Roseola says flat occasionally with a few bumps, pink, first trunk then arms and neck very little on face and legs high fever for 3 days that disappears as rash appears. Should only last four to five days and as long as the fever went away all will be OK. Other symptoms sometimes are runny nose, throat redness and swollen glands. good luck

Huh, she have been given the MMR at 9 months? Are you specific? because of the fact its given at 12-18 months or maybe the Merck insert states that seroconversion failure happens until eventually now 15 months. So the greater youthful you are the a lot greater possibly the vaccine won't provide immunity. I do think of its pertaining to to the vax, its too coincidental to no longer be causal. The MMR is a stay vaccine meaning it grants you a mushy case of what this is meant to avert. The record theory it replaced into pertaining to to the vax too, yet I agree that would not sound very constructive while a record is online finding stuff up. i visit accept as true with hearts that it sounds like measles.

Looks like an allergic reaction to something. My daughter gets those kinds of rashes when I do something different with her clothes or if I give her something new to eat. Best thing to put on it is Baby Aveeno lotion works great for when my daughter gets a reaction. Keep an eye on it and if it really worries you take him to the doctors.
My daughter just got a rash like that on her stomach and back from grape juice.

I tend to agree with the viral rash. I have a 4 and 9 year old and I didn't know such a thing existed, but sometimes after a cold they can get a rash.. usually takes around a week to clear, however both my kids had it all over.. including the face.

It's could be roseala(not spelled right)...my son had it at 6 months. It started with a sudden spike in fever, followed by fussiness and a rash that started on his abdomen and moved its way up the body. It looked almost identical to your picture. Give it another 3 days and it should be gone.

to me it looks like a viral infection, my nefew had the same thing 2 days ago, and it was located on his back and chest and a few on his legs, she brought him over here and i thought it was a reaction to maybe changin washin detergent, so we took him to my moms cuz she's a nurse and she said it was viral , and to give him some benadryl, he's had a cold for some time now and it turned into a virus that caused bumps like that ,not that there bumps there smooth and splotchy. which gets confussed with heat .heat rashes r bumpy u can feel'em. those look like patches. I would take him to the doctor to b for certain, they didnt give her anything to give him but they gave him something for his cold , and sure enough it was a virus now!!!!!!!!!!! the rash is gone it just has to run its course the doctor said. well best of luck!!!

My daughter had the same exact thing on her torso after her chicken pox vaccination and she had been sick too. Give him a tsp of benedryl and call the doctor. They might want to see it to be sure it 's a reaction.
