this is a follow up questions to my baby turning blue, and she is still breathing when she turns blue, she's not cold but she does just kinda stare into space when it happens, no infection, good heart, good ph levels, no reflux, good oxygen levels, etc nothing shows up yet she still turns blue

How many parents really realize the fact that with their sons/daughters there are no guarantees they will have another day with them? Especially teens? In other words what you do or say to them could be the last interaction between them or you. I think parents forget their sons/daughters are human and there are no guarantees how long a human is going to be on this earth. I ask this because a co-worker of mine has become a very distraught, messed up person because the last thing she called her daughter before her daughters death at 17 was a "Filthy whore after finding out she and her boyfriend was sexually active." The mother has turned to alcohol, divorced and is about to loose her job over this. Has this happened to any parents posting or do you know of anyone that it happened to. I think we all must stop pause and think before we say and do to not only our own family members but anyone we feel is important in our lives, you never know if it's your last chance.

I posted another question like this a minute ago, but I didn't really say what I am having a big problem with. My youngest stepdaughter seems very confused by the whole REAL DAD/STEPDAD thing. She calls her stepfather who she lives with DAD and calls my husband her stepdad. Numerous family members have heard her say this. They have tried to explain the difference to her, but either she is not understanding or the mom and stepdad are telling her different. My 10 yr old son has tried to tell her in kids terms what he difference is, but she just said to him "Well he (stepdad) was there when I was born, so he is my dad" (MY husband and his ex split up when she was still pregnant and she didn't call him when she went into labor or gave birth, instead allowing her new man the stepdad to be in the delivery room. He has no children of his own, and seems to think of this child as his) My husband has tried to explain it to her, but she still hasn't stopped calling him my his name.

the father doesnt have a name nor signature on my childs birth certificate. i want to ask for financial rights of my child. but the father is keep on denying our child coz he has a family of his own now and want to protect his job. he has a position in our school. he is a dean.

she did have and ultrasaound and echo of her heart, and it turned up normal, it began last tuesday, she will turn blue anywhere from 1 to 4 times a day, she is on medication for a bladder infection which is gone now, her tongue does turn blue, and when she does this she is just like in a daze, her oxygen level is good when she does it, she doesn't have reflux, she's not cold and she's never had a problem before, last tuesday was the first time and she is 3 months old now, at first they said it was from her bladder infection, but that is cleared up now, and she still turns blue, then they said it was from reflux but they did and upper gi and a 24 hour ph level test which showed no reflux, please does someone have any thoughts, she's been to a regular hospital, her pedatrician, and a childrens hospital

I dont know what to do.. this morning "the day after" her stomach hurts and she feels like vomiting.. they didnt use a condom and he did *** in her.. shes afraid she might be pregant.. if u can hep please do.. People that are just going to say crap like she should not of done it please dont post anything because she really needs a answer, we are all human and we all make mistakes...but we learn from them..

We are pretty relaxed at home. We dont jump on using earthy words (but we do clamp down on swear words), but my 4 year is now using those earthy words at daycare. Yesterday when I picked him up, the day care teacher basically told me off for him using inappropriate words and actions (laughing when he or someone else burps or farts) in daycare. This teacher is quite strict and does NOT have children of her own. How can I teach my son to be himself, without squashing his spirit, and yet be able to sort of behave in public. I am really against being a "conformist".

Do you think people need to realize teens include young adults 17 -19 who may be married, military, and leading happy successfull lives before posting answers to some of the ?'s on this site. Seems to me evryone lumps them together and think of the 16 and under crowd and forget about the fact their are adult teens.

My husbands 3 kids live with their mother and step-father. The mom was cheating on my husband with the step-day while she was still pregnant with my youngest step-daughter, so this man has been in these kids lives for a long time. He acts as if these are his kids. He seems to be a very domineering man and looks like he makes all the rules in their house. The mom has interfiered in my husbands visitation for as long as I have been married to him. If they have some other plans, she tells my husband that he can't see the kids. As much as she has done this the kids, except for my stepson, are not very close to my husband. The girls in fact, call their stepdad "DAD" and my husband by his name. I have kept from saying anything to their mom and stepdad, but I think my husband needs too. The stepdad is all of a sudden really religious and wont let the girls where pants. Big change from a guy who was found to be abusing them about 6 years ago. Should my hubby talk to the mom or the kids?

I have a 3month old little girl and she will turn blue in the hands, arms, legs, feet, around the mouth, and her butt, it only last for about 1/2 hour or and hour, she was in a childrens hospital for 9 days, they ran every test they could think of, they couldn't find anything so they sent her home, she's not cold, she's prompt up, she doesn't have reflux, her oxygen levels are good, and so is her heart, i'm worried becuase i don't have any answer, do you have any suggestions? or have you ever heard anything like this?
