how can i tell my parents that i want to go out. i know your gonna say that im too young, cause im only 13, but i really like this girl and she already told her parents. the only reason im going out with her is because she is movin in 4 weeks and i want to spend time with her. i asked my mom if she could come over my house and she said yea, but you cnt go into your room. i dont think my parents trust me that much even though they know i wouldnt do nything stupid. how can i tell them that i want to go out with this girl? i'll leave the door open if i have to and they dont know her. i do everything around the house too. i cut the grass, clean up stuff, and do all the other yard work(including dog pickup ). i have 2 brothers who dont do crap, and they are 15 and 16. i also have a sister wo pretends she doesnt remeber what my parents asked her to do so she doesnt do it. my brothers just got a new car and my little sister(8) gets basically w/e she wants. i get no allowance. please help me??

make children go outside at recess when the weather is up to minus 27 degrees? Thats the rule where I live but it is mighty cold then. What are your opinions?

We have SO MANY grandparents & great-grandparents in our family. They don't want anything from the store, they love hand-made gifts from my girls. I'm stuck--I can't think of anything that would be easy to make and nice enough for a Christmas gift.
Does anyone have any tips/advice? Or can you lead me to a decent website that has good ideas?
Oh, and I have twin girls so I need something for both of them to make.
THANK YOU!!

I am a second year graduate student in a veterinary program. I have been married for 2.5 years to a good man who wants children. I am overcome with the desire to have a baby, but am concerned with having one during grad school. Does anyone out there have advice/ stories to share regarding this?

I believe that the best family is one where one man and one woman marry each other and then begin to raise children. That is, they wait until marriage before procreating.

I believe that this, the traditional family, is best for teaching children the lessons of life, including good morals.

Families with two dads or two moms or one dad and several moms, or any combination OTHER than one mom and one dad, do not do as good a job at raising children.

The only exception I sympathize with is where one parent dies and leaves the other to raise the kids alone.

He screams and throws a tantrum if I eat what's in his plate (after he eats my food). Then, he'll take THAT plate of food from me. I've tried everything (even spanking him). Nothing works! Help! --Hungry in Anderson,S.C.

Ok according to my OBGYN, because I my period started the 17th of October, I ovulated on the first. This was because my cycle is always one day earlier, meaning that I got one period Sep 18, thn October 17, and am expecting it on the 16th of this month. I didn't know anything about those calendars until yesterday, and I had had unprotected sex the 2nd. Well, the 29th, too. What are the chances of pregnancy? Percentages, please?

We are going to try to wait to find out the sex of the baby is when we have it. Whenever we do get pregnant! We have a girl & boy name. Our girl name, Marion, came from my grandmother, who died at the age of 26 and her middle name would be Jade, a name both my husband and I both love. Our boy name is Price, which was my maiden name, and the middle name is Edward, which is my husbands middle name. We love them both. What do you guys think about the names & do you think it means more if you name your children after family?

I have heard that a good indication as to the eventual height a child will grow to is double their height when they are two,is there any truth in this or is it an old wives tale ?
We have a two year little girl who is 3' tall,if this ratio is true she will soon be a big girl 6' !

I have two preschool-age children. At the moment, there is a constant battle in our house to get them to stop saying "poopiehead" "booty" "peepee butt" or any other bodily waste/heinie anatomy words.

WHAT THA HECK????

Is that normal?

BTW, they're two boys, ages 3 and 5.
