Most babies learn to crawl around 6-10 months. Before crawling, they start sitting up on their own, and after crawling they start pulling up.

Some babies skip crawling completely and go from sitting up to pulling up.

Generally from 5 months to a year. It is a step needed before cruising and walking. You don't need to help them. Let them do on their own. Just make sure there is no sharp corners or anything they can hurt themselves with.

depends on the baby. Most of the time I've seen them get up on all fours and rock back and forth for a few days before they take off.
