Ok according to my OBGYN, because I my period started the 17th of October, I ovulated on the first. This was because my cycle is always one day earlier, meaning that I got one period Sep 18, thn October 17, and am expecting it on the 16th of this month. I didn't know anything about those calendars until yesterday, and I had had unprotected sex the 2nd. Well, the 29th, too. What are the chances of pregnancy? Percentages, please?

if you ovualated on the first and had sex on the 29th and the 1st i say your chances are very high because sperm can live inside a woman for several days. so if that is what you were trying for i hope that is what happened. me i had sex two days before ovulation and now i am six months pregnant so good luck.

Well you certainly did time it correctly. I would say 20-35 percent. You timed it right, and it was unprotected... still, the average woman only has about a 20 percent chance of getting pregnant every month, even on the right days and conditions... because that little sperm has so far to go to get to the egg and so many things can go wrong with fertilization. On that note, an awful lot of pregnancies happen because of timeing ( I was on birth control, missed two days of the pill which just happened to be the right two days.. now I'm 37 weeks and wasnt even trying) If you can get those sperm in to the egg on time... you have the highest chance. So don't get your hopes up too high, but you are definantly flying higher than average.
