Only a dr could make a diagnosis, but it does sound like the flu.
It sounds like he's already on the mend, so I'd just make sure he gets plenty of fluids, and when he's ready, soft bland foods.
Small amounts at first. if that temp gets over 102 again, I'd see a dr. You can get a prescription for Tamiflu which will ease the symptoms, but i think you're past the worst of it now. Good luck and hang in there little guy, things are going to get better!

Well, based on the symptoms, he could have strep throat as well. Headache and stomachaches are symptoms of the strep. You'd be amazed of the symptoms associated with strep. Does he have a weird looking rash? Now as far as the flu is concerned, you have to remember that it is a virus. There is no prescribed meds for a virus. You just have to treat the symptoms and keep him comfortable. But definately take him to his doctor, anytime there's a fever, you should call especially if it ever hit the 103 like you mentioned. Hope he feels better soon.

Please get him checked out immediately! Sounds like a stomach flu. Keep the fluids flowing and watch for him to get nonreactive or flacid. If this happens get him to the hospital right away!! The fever should only last for a few days and go away, any longer you should start getting worried.
