Hi all I think I am finally starting my period this morning. Got a bit of bloody mucas. So I can then start my birth control. My question is do I go ahead and start my pill tomorrow? Or do I start is next Sunday after my period? Thanks Ladies.

This is something you should have talked to your nurse (or whoever you got the pills from, hopefully a physician of sorts) about when you got the pills!

Usually pills are started on the Sunday after your period begins, not after it ends. So if your period started Saturday morning you would start your pills the next day (Sunday). Hope that made sense.

the pills should have came with directions when you got them from the pharmacy, but I think it is the sunday after you period starts.
