I have like 115 credits. I need five more classes to graduate with a B.A. in German but it's gonna take me a year from now to be done. I want to join the Air Force and get started now but I can't decide if I should stick it out for one more year before I join or just join and finish while in the A.F. I'm wondering about credits transferring in the A.F. and if it'll be lots harder and longer to finish in the A.F. or what? Please tell me anything you can about getting Bachelor degrees while in the Air Force and if you think I should finish up before I join or just join and take care of it in the USAF.

My friend was recently in an abusive situation at her BCT unit.
The 1 SGT of the Company had her restrained by 4 female SITs. She tried to go get help, and they sent her to CMHS. The people she talked to there told her to contact the IG, but when she tried she was told that she had to go through her chain of command. Which, she told me will take a long time.

Now she is talking that she wants out of the Army completely. Her left shoulder is messed up from where the girls were pulling at her, but her company will do nothing about it. She told me that if they don't hurry up she is going to go AWOL and fix things herself.

I am trying to find ways to help her from my side, we both know what could happen to her if she goes AWOL. I want to help her so bad because she's losing it 'emotionally' but I'm lost in this stuff. Where do I start? Do I contact a Lawyer? And if she does go AWOL, will the Lawyer still help and perhaps get the AWOL charges cleared?

however, we are there now. Since we have thrown the country into utter chaos dont we have some obligation to try to clean the mess up? I dont think terrorists were much of an issue there before we invaded but we created the perfect breeding ground for them now. Isnt it our moral responsibility to try and repair what our current administration has so messed up?

I am pretty sure that I am pregnant and my boyfriend is 17 and in the military because of this he says that he is legally and adult and he could lose his job and go to jail. I live in Kansas and I don't know much about laws or the military so help me out. Should I put him on the birth certificate or not? I dont want him to lose his job and/or go to jail.

Should I enlist in the Delayed Entry Program and attempt to become a commissioned officer during the wait or is this is a scam by the recruiters? I am considering the air force and maybe army as well. I 'm just not very confident about my chances of becoming an officer. I have a 3.1 or 3.2 GPA from Purdue University (2003)in communications. What would you do?

Forget Baghdad, if the US can't secure the Iraqi borders there will be an endless supply of terrorists, supplies, & weapons flowing into Iraq just like the Ho CHING Ming Trail during the Vietnam war.

No secure Iraqi borders & the US will never win a war in Iraq. Period.

So since the US isn't even trying to secure the borders of Iraq even w/ the Surge, the only possible reason US troops are still in Iraq is so Bush won't take the blame for losing the war.

My brother is currently at the Naval Academy, and I'm a junior in high school that is beginning my application. I'm curious about becoming a lawyer in the Navy and was wondering if anybody had any information on the subject. What are the benefits of being a JAG, how hard or selective is it and how what that work if you graduate from the Naval Academy?

Any information on JAGs, I'd be interested in.

One of my boys was diagnosed with high functioning Autism and the other with Aspergers. The military really does not have much in the way of treatment for the disorders in the Autistic spectrum. my family had to return tote states. Now i am looking for Naval bases that have quality services (covered by tricare or the state) nearby. The cost of living in California is way to high and Virginia’s programs are stone age compared to Pennsylvania where they are now. They are currently in western PA where no Naval Installations nearby. I am primarily looking at the northwest, Texas and Florida. Release to recruiting and RDC have both been eliminated as well. Thanks for your time in advance.
