if it came down to a personal defense situtation and you could choose between the M-16 (AR-15) or an AK-47 (mak 90) which would you choose?
remember that the M-16 or AR-15 is a (.223) 5.56x45 mm which in hunting and sportsman terms is a varmit load while the ak or mak 90 is 7.62x39 mm (much larger and more powerful)

Granted, Pakistan appears to be a friend, but there are people in that country who support UBL's radical Islam. Hopefully, none in Pakistan's nuke agency.

I have no romantic impressions of war but I am single with no children and feel like I should be there as much as these kids. I have a college degree in commerce from the University of Virginia but no previous military experience. My dad fought in Vietnam and my uncle fought in WW2, Korea, and Vietnam. I want to serve...I was never disciplined enough before...How?

I believe I was told that I'd have some word in where I'm stationed after training. If that's accurate, where do you think I should go? The obvious choice would be Iraq, but I just don't know what it'd really be like there.
I'm infantry and plan to eventually turn ranger. I want to see action.
Also, I'd like to continue learning various martial arts. Do you think there'd be opportunities like that around the average base?

Who thinks that China will one day take over the world? They have the manpower to. Many millions of ppl in China. Not to mention that most of the products americans( i don't know about other countries) use comes from china. Just go and pick up something and look at what country it was made in. The Chinese could just cut off some of those supplies and start attacking. Now im not trying to offend any Chinese ppl out there by typing this. I just want to hear what ppl think.
