My daughters boyfrind is joining the Marine Corp, and it has my daughter scared to death. The recruter will not give her any information on when he will be leaving or how long he will be gone. I want to comfort her fears by getting all the info that I can. Can any one tell me where to find it?

Recent news about the Marines kiling innocent suvillians in Iraq. There are many questions as to how far up in the "chain of command" the whole things has been covered up.

I have a question about joining the Army but I don't feel courage enough to call a recruiter, I feel like an email message will be a lot easier.

This question is based on the unlikely event that the Bush administration refused to leave office for reasons of terrorism. Would the American military fire on fellow Americans?

My husband and I are looking for my father-in-law's records, or at least some record of his existance!! He died in 1963 or 1964, around the same time my mother-in-law got pregnant. He was in the Navy, and was stationed in California. He died while visiting my mother in law in Kansas. His name was John Allen Popchoke. If you know of hime, or if you know how to locate a record of his service, Please let me know! Thanks so much.

I believe there will be disappointment at first but give it a few days after we lose and a few drinks of wiskey and the defeated troops will be ok.

Hi,
Will my canadian wife be able to come live on base with me if I am in the navy? Do I just have to fill out paperwork for her so she can get a military spouse card? Has anyone else been married to a foreigner who is a USC and in a military branch? The reason I ask this is because I am young 19 and she is too and is pregnant with a baby. We both don't have jobs and everyone has suggested to me that joining a military branch would be the best option for me and her at this time and the best and fastest way to be together and make a future. I really hope someone can write back!

Thanks

I've made it to E-5, but loved being a corporal more. When I was promoted, my Major (a mustanger) said Sergeant was the best rank he held, other than Captain. Which rank did you enjoy the most?

My best friends husband of 5 months is AWOL. He keeps saying he's going back but he never does. I think he's just being a leech because he's not even trying. Plus I'm worried that he might be abusing her.

Why do we keep hearing about 2,450 U.S. troops who died... these were trained killers who signed their lives away when they enlisted...

They could have simply refused to go over there: under the Nuremburg principle, illegal orders from a superior must not be obeyed, and this was an illegal war, even Richard Perle, one of this war's architects admitted as much.

A lot of fuss, only in the West, about the Haditha crimes, women and kids being shot in the head unprovoked.... This is only because the story made it past the cover-up, and the main stream media filter. Iraquis aren't engaged in massive protests because this sort of thing has been going on daily for the last three years - they are numb to it.

the 100,000 or so Iraqi civilians slaughtered did not sign their lives away... these were people's wives, sons, daughters and neighbors.

I'm waiting for the order to cut and run from Iraq and we will once again have shame on the troop's faces. You know it's coming soon just like in Vietnam. Shame and Crow food will be the order of the day.
