Why do we keep hearing about 2,450 U.S. troops who died... these were trained killers who signed their lives away when they enlisted...

They could have simply refused to go over there: under the Nuremburg principle, illegal orders from a superior must not be obeyed, and this was an illegal war, even Richard Perle, one of this war's architects admitted as much.

War critics astonished as US hawk admits invasion was illegal

A lot of fuss, only in the West, about the Haditha crimes, women and kids being shot in the head unprovoked.... This is only because the story made it past the cover-up, and the main stream media filter. Iraquis aren't engaged in massive protests because this sort of thing has been going on daily for the last three years - they are numb to it.

the 100,000 or so Iraqi civilians slaughtered did not sign their lives away... these were people's wives, sons, daughters and neighbors.

Yes, we should care, they are doing what they think is right. They sign up to follow orders and it is the leadership that is responsible for this criminal act and they should have to stand trial for it. Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and now Rice should all have to answer for this war. The solders themselves are the victims.

OK stupid then you don't have a loved one over there your question and any answerer's are irrelevant you have freedom to make these questions why you go figure it out if some man had not signed on the dotted line to serve our country then you would not be able to ask such a stupid question get a life find some other cause to start complain about they could have stood up to the tyrant's that over rule them but they make the choice to put there children and them selves in harms way your question should be why should be be saying poor Iraqis they did this to them selves we are only over there for political and police reasons suck it up be an American and start fighting for your own people not the Iraqi's

You are entitled to you point of view.
Lets see 9-11 was the deciding factor in a lot of those newbies enlisting they where willing to give there lives, leave their families behind with the chance of dieing because they believe by doing so they would help ensure that no more Innocent lives where lost here at home.
And again if gang from south side school went and killed someone all of the students at south side are killers.? are you following the bouncing ball here.
If in fact these men are guilty we expect them to throw the book at them but how dare you put those who die for your freedom and right to live without fear into such a category

it doesnt matter that they signed they're lives away. they are still human. their death needs to be recognized as much as any other person. but they are fighting for us all and thats why they need to be recognized. they are the soldiers of the United States of American the most powerful country in the world. yes Iraqis have died but in war people die. no matter what they are, a soldier or a innocent civilian somebody is gonna die in a war. i dont kow where u got this thing where we killed 100,000 innocent iraqis but if we did there is no way we can cover that up. the only 100,000 iraqis i know about dieing is what Saddam did his own people before we came there. and its not our fault that they died either. thats what it sounds like youre trying to say in the last sentence.

Hey dumbass! they are not all trained killers. Some were cooks and even dog handlers who as we all know sleep with their dogs and could not hurt a fly. You should check out a recent question posted about you.
