Dude, what you're looking for is the SEALS fitness requirements

The United States Naval Special Warfare Command (NAVSPECWARCOM, NAVSOC, or NSW) is the command charged with overseeing the various Special Operations Forces (SOF) of the U.S. Navy.

There's also an Armed Service Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) that you have to pass

Dude, it's THERE. Try reading! Here's the Physical Screen Test (PST) that you have to perform just to be considered. Then it list what you have to meet to make it as a SEAL, far more than the PST!

1. 500 yard swim using breast and /or side stroke < 12:30
Ten minutes rest
2. Perform 42+ pushups in 2 minutes
Two minutes rest
3. Perform 50+ sit-ups in 2 minutes
Two minutes rest
4. Perform 6+ pull-ups, no time limit
Ten minute rest
5. Run 1.5 miles < 11:30 (boots and long pants)
As a reminder, there are no maximums on these physical tests. Prospective trainees should provide the best scores possible, i.e., give his best effort.

Try posting question on
http://www.military.com
You will have to register to post....
There are active duty and retired military as well as others on www.military.com forums.....
in the news/hot topics and current events/point counterpoint the busiest forums. Not as fast as yahoo forums but more authoritative and you can back and forth on that forum.
That is what I would suggest.

physical readiness test is all physical running; sit up and push up why would you need instructions? I don't understand.
